I'm home! HMO sent me, not the docs.
I kept down solids and while I still have problems, we're gonna have to home-manage. I've had enoough saltines to last a lifetime, however. But noodle soupo stays down, and that's good. And my CT is clear.

What are your TGIFoods?
TGIFoods for me:
Scrambled eggs, toast, and hash browns. That is a huge breakfast, but when I can get it? That's like the gold standard of "my meal for a day". Add a bit of cheese to those eggs and I'm in heaven!
Mac and cheese the way my mojm taught me to make it. More like cheese sticking to a few noodles, LOL.
A simple stir-fry with simple plain rice. I've never been a gourmand!
Raw beggies sprinkled with balsamic vinegar and salt. Who needs dip? (Well, since the World Cup guys took all the ranch, LOL.)
Popcorn.
It's a week before I can risk another fave: lentils and veg in Indian spices.
Tabouli. Oh, how I look forward to it! I make mine with quinoa OR traditional wheat and it's soooo good on hot days! Lemon, prasley, cucumber, a bit of tomato, cumi, salt, delish!
Falafel with garlic-lemon sauce. DElightful.
Basically, I just realized I eat a largely vegetarian Med diet, and I don't care. I can't wait for safe lettuc again. Romaine with cdoutons and proper dressing is sublime.
Oh, and I forgot, baked veggies: Onions on bottom, then taters, turnips, zucchini, whatever, and halfway through, when the onions are caramelized, add herbed water to finish it off. (Carrots take forever sometimes.)
BUT a simple roasted turnip, whole, can be eaten a lot like a baked potato or mashed to fill out your taters, and add in a sharp cheese (Parmesan is my fave) and it's brilliant.
I'm listing foods I can start trying agian in a week. YAY!
WHAT ARE YOUR TGIFOODS!
(OK, I admit, Frnech fries in nacho cheese dip. I do love spices.)

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Today (August 8) is INternational Cat Day. Don't click away! International DOG day is August 26! Both were created to raise aweareness and funds for the well-being of critters. We have many such dayts, to the pint that every day is like an old Catholic saints' day calendar: Take your pick!I'm home, obvs, and still ill. Left calf and foot not great after a tangle-fall, but i'll live. Just can't...
I want to crawl in bed as soon as I get home, but even if I didn't have to feed the critters, it's gonna take a while to cool the house down. We got bad thunderstorms last night but the rain didn't bring down the humidity at all. It did scare the hell out of Miki though. Hopefully tonight will be calmer. Once it's cool, I'll probably have no problem falling asleep at least. Tumble loves to snuggle under the covers n,even when it's hot, but it's so heartwarming that I can't kick him out...
