Mine was nothing to do with FM, but I suspect we heal lousier soft-tissue wise than "normal" anyway. Even if we don't? TEndons are cranky. Once irritated, they do stay mad.
Rest the arm, do the PT but yell OW if it hurts (b/c it shouldn't make things worse) and find out if there's a repetitive motion in your work or exercise or something that "triggers" it---and change how you do that. Speaking from experience. If I think I'm okay and still try to do some things? My arm is a flame of ouch for two weeks at least!

Another ultrasound probably needed to assess if theres other damage because it can show more than an Xray.
Just because it feels better doesn't mean it's better.
