Just wanted to share a thought or two about today now that it's almost over. I used to really enjoy Sundays. I'd get up, make coffee and breakfast, hop in the shower, wash,dry, brush and braid my hair, put earrings on, and off to churchI'd go, always on time. Today, as many other days, I stayed home. I didn't do any of the above but make coffee. It's 6pm here in California, and as always, my least favorite part of the day - the part where I try to fight thru the pain and make dinner. One day at a time, I guess. I gotta find a few ways to take it easier on myself. Happy early Labor Day! I hope all of you can rest from ALL your labors!

I used to be up at dawn or earlier, full of zipppppp! And now? Meh. That said.... Sunday is the day I do prep work for a week of supper. The thump you hear is me going crunch.

I hate Sunday's. I have a desk job and so I sit Monday-Friday. Saturday is catchup with my little girls, groceries, laundry, cooking, cleaning, by Sunday I'm in full anxiety depression mode from too much pain. I know how you feel. I wish things were different for you. Unfortunately, I never get use to the pain and everything else it causes in my life. Rest up today!

I try to cook only once a week and large enough batches to last the week or freeze some for future meals when I feel too poo-ey to cook. I hope you figure out something that works for you!

a lot of my friends always post about Sunday Funday. Well I generally don't have a lot of energy to have fun. That and I have declined so many invites that I no longer get invited.

Anyways, about dinner. I try to make things in the crockpot. That way I don't have a lot of work to do to get dinner complete.

I still like Sunday, though the last couple years my husband's illness has made it difficult to keep a routine. We have made Sunday comfy pj day.

Sundays are sometimes difficult days for me. I try to make it to church, but if I'm in too much pain or am exhausted, our church is live-streamed, so I stay home and watch it. I enjoy football season, so I sit like a lump for 9 hours and watch that during the fall months. I always pack for hubby on Sunday, because he travels for work during the week. It's 4am right. now, so I'm not sure this all made any sense. Take care.
