What other changes have you been making? I see you're new here as am I.
Owchy, I'm with ya on doing the stretching before getting out of bed! A must.
which suggests this treatment:
Baking soda - some sport programs suggest up to 3 x 1/2 teaspoon per day. And I've read about people with fibro being too acidic.
Apple cider vinegar - there are many websites that promote it as a cure for digestive ailments and I'm one.
Magnesium - from magnesium chloride but I've been using magnesium citrate for about 8 months now.
Yet "Ted, from Bangkok", states that fibro is caused by a virus (not in my head!) and that on top of this regime to control the symptoms we must do and take everything you can that is anti-viral.
So I have also reduced my carb intake and am spritzing myself with oil of lavender in alcohol (actually vodka) See treatments -"lavender" on this site.
There are other supplements and treatments suggested but that is a far as I've gone.
I've studied biochemistry so I bought pH paper and found that I am more acidic that others around me and the listed pH levels for saliva and urine. The apple cider vinegar I can understand for digestion yet so many websites suggest malic acid for fibro which is found in ACV. The Mg - well I have found it helps - don't know why I should be so deficient but the benefits outweigh the loose bowels.
I also take D-ribose (thank-you Dr. Oz.) and it has helped with mental clarity.
I am fortunate that I have two dogs to assist me to exercise and so I walk minimum 2 x 1/2 hr per day.
Yet, three weeks ago I wouldn't have had the initiative to find this website, much less participate.
I feel so much better than 3 weeks ago.
