I was sitting at Bible study today and one friend asked what exactly fibro is. I was just starting to explain when another friend butted in and said it is like very old age starting way too young!
I thought that for someone who doesn't have fibro and only knows of it through seeing and hearing about my daughter, it was a very close presentation.
I then was able to build on that groundwork and they seem to get it as nearly as someone with such a limited exposure can. I am really pleased they care enough to try and understand.

If prednisone does nothing for her, well, that tells you something. Prednisone helps me, but I can only take it rarely and for a short period, since I do have osteoporosis. But it does show that despite "normalish" blood work, something inflammatory is going on with me.

Like in Joysis', post, this is good news! The victories seem far and few between, so it is so nice to hear when someone that doesn't have it, gets it. I'm so glad that you've found that care, and hopefully support; and I agree with the others about being checked.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
