I know B12 helps me with energy
Yes you don't have to have sleep apnea to have problems with the stages of sleep.
I've often taken little power naps that last up to about 10-15 minutes and this seems to recharge me a bit.
But when I get this way I pull out my energy vitamins.
Guifenesin (this helps me, I know it doesn't help all)
Vitamin D
Co-Q-10
D-Ribose.
I start with one and if I need to take the next, then I do....I try to wait a few hours in between each one.
It was also mentioned above that someone said that the pain uses up our energy. He's 810% correct with that one. I've been listening to my body for several years now and that is one of the biggest complaints I have. If I am on a pain reliever/med for any reason, I have my energy back. But I'm sitting here on the young side of spectrum and no doc will prescribe pain meds in my area to 'someone so young'. I've choosen to respect that advice and I do what I can when I can.
I've also noticed that the precursor to the fatigue spells I get is increased brain fog. I haven't figured out why...but it is what it is I guess.
i used to think it was due to pain running me down, but even when my pain is controlled i have this problem.
so i guess the first thing i would ask yourself is, is there a correlation between your pain levels and your tiredness?
I've had them ever since I had mono at 17. I got diagnosed with fibro at 19.
it doesn't matter what I take during those days - my body just falls asleep.
For the past week I have really been having some crazy dreams. Night before last I woke myself up an had Festus barking up a storm because in my sleep I screamed(out loud) "Get out of my house!" My brother was trying to force me into rehab for pain pills. The crazy part is in real life I've never spoke to my brother regarding meds. of any kind.
