i have been taking klonapin for sleep. Sometimes I can get a few hours sleep and sometimes none. Besides the fact that it doesn't work well, it gives me constipation. I also take hydrocodone for pain and it also causes constipation. Can someone please help me, as I have to stop taking these medicines. Thank you

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. But what exactly is your question? Is it what to take for sleep?
Is that the question?
I haven't so much constipation from Klonopin, but opiates definitely cause constipation. The OTC drug colace can keep things moving. Also, licorice capsules or even candy.
You need to speak to your doctor about this situation before you quit taking your meds. And, ask for a sleep study to pinpoint the problem and figure out what medication might be more effective for sleep.
As far a constipation goes, I take fiber every single day to combat that issue. Drinking lots of water helps too. Take care.

Something else that I have found is Pumpkin Spice. I read that it helped pain by reducing inflammation in about a month. I tried it, and did take away my pain after only a few days. But I will only be using it in small amounts since I don't know about what the overall outcome of it will be.
I bought the spice at Kroger for about $4.50. It's made up of cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg, I looked up it's ingredients and most of them is believed to relieve inflammation.
Hope you find relief!
I have taken magnesium and fish oil in the past, but not during the same period of time, and for reasons unknown they did nothing for me. So, I don't know if it is a brand thing or if it is because I am taking them both now, but I have experienced a noticeable difference!
