So I had two rotten nights of sleep in a row so of course now I am in a bad flare on my days off. :(
The skin on the back of my arm has been hurting, super sensitive almost like when you have the flu or a sunburn. This is not new for me, comes and goes. Does anyone else have this?? If so what helps?? I tried my Two Old Goats cream which seems to have helped a little. Planning on taking a bath later but have to wait until the baby goes to bed.
Thanks for the advice.

What you are describing sounds like nerve pain which is one of the many perks assoicated with Fibromyalgia (FMS). You need to speak to your doctor. Gabapentin which is a prescribed medication can be helpful for this problem. I hope that you feel better soon. Take care.

That sounds aweful and I am sorry you are feeling that in your arm. I have had that kind of pain before, but mostly on my scalp. I do have nerve pain in my leg and Gabapentin, as suggested by Fantod, works well for me. Maybe you would only have to take it as needed. I hope you find something that works, especially since you have to use your arms for your baby. :) HUGS!

Thanks, it has gotten better after I caved and took a pain med. I have had nerve pain from lumbar and cervical problems for years, this is just a newer symptom. My neck and shoulders were all flared last night so it makes sense that it would be a nerve issue. Also been getting weird hot sensations in my shins and calves, also feels like it might be nerve pain. Yay. I will start back with my pain journal and talk to my rheumy when I see him in July for follow up.

I have the same thing in the same places. I have a terrible time going to the hairdresser because my scalp hurts when my hair is touched. I'm wondering if you have any skin issues on the backs of your arms other than the pain. Any rashes, etc.?
