I just a had a really rough rollercoaster week.
I just got back from putting my beloved cat of 15 yrs to sleep... after losing the battle to cancer. We were trying to wait till the vet opened up Monday, but he got so sick today, we had to rush him to an emergency animal hospital (downtown) and get it done. Really not the way I wanted him to go. I cried all over the clinic till I couldn't cry anymore.
And a few days ago, a stock boy in the drug store crashed his hand-pushed flatbed, that was loaded with cases of beer, staight into me and knocked me down the isle. I got banged up pretty bad and had to sit in the ER with whiplash, bruises, and strained mucles. While the drug store blew me off (didn't let me talk to the manager). The corporate office is investigating it now.
Anyway... my best friend of 15 yrs is gone and I'm just a wreck right now. If you got a few hugs to spare, I could sure use them.

88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Hugs.
It’s so hard to loose our loved ones. When I lost my dog I was a wreck, it was like I lost my baby & my best friend all in one, now 5 years later I miss her but I still think of her a lot fondly & smile of all the good times we had together, sometimes she pops up in my dreams to say hi
I’ll keep you in my prayers
Gentlest of hugs
Blue, I am so sorry. This pain hurts like no other. My sweet Zoiegirl (16yrs) and Lexi (9) were the hardest besides my first ever dog (we got Sammers when I was 6mo old and she died the summer I turned 13). Their big hearts they shared with us leave such a huge gaping wounds in ours when they are gone.
I wish I could give you a real hug right now and make you something to sooth your heart.
I am so sorry you ended up in the ER also over that stupid stunt at the store. I still can not believe that.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs and prayers for you now and always.
I am sorry too for your freak accident. Keep pursuing the store. I have had a few "freak" accidents in the last 8 years. They seem to "find me". Gentle Hugs to you in healing physically and mentally now. FibroHyg
I saw my counselor yesterday and he thinks I should talk to a lawyer right away. He said businesses usually try to get out of any responsibility to any "damages" to the customer. I only had whiplash and some bruises, but he thinks I should talk to one anyway to see what they say. I may do that.
