My fibro-brain is reacting to a repetition or two of minor leg exercises by activating pain response to a level of 8/10 (almost screaming pain).Worst yesterday but has been a topic for a week. Before that it was limping left hip pain. Acch..
So, luckily my methdone/.baclofen every 3 hours (on the dot!) is working This morniing I woke up after 7 hours of sleep (!) NOT in pain. I am soooooooooo grateful!
Won't post an agonizingly long and boring account of the sale of family business with a greedy step-mother getting all of my father's money and my alcoholic brother-doberman enforcer-----ONLY to say that my brother sent me an email yesterday and it was deja-vu (in this case PTSD) all over again. I had anger and tension about the sale and manipulation and greed. And I felt it again.
And he said how I caused the family rift. Did I say guilt?
Needless to say, I did not respond to my brother's email and since I had gone to Thanksgiving with that family (notice the 'that') well, it's
enough.
I must avoid unpleasantness and PTSD inducing experiences, don't you know.
I am grateful for my sons, my grandchildren, my sister and those friends who are close to my heart. To all others I wish them enlightenment and goodness.

Some of us get spasms (myofascial pain is common with FM for smoe of us) and yes, it's horrible! I get it in my shoulders usually. Ugh!
Ah, family. TO quote my therapist --- I am in treatment for raging hot PTSD, clinically dx'd, complete with prescribing psychiatrist -000 "Family is the leading cause of mental illness." Yep. I am shedding the lsat of the guilt, but it's a struggle!
I am glad you were able to be rid of the pain and got some rest!
