Hello, I was wondering if any of you have dealt with the issue of no longer being able to work. I am a dental hygienist and very dependent on my physical body and brain to function adequately in my job. I am getting concerned because I am having a much harder time doing my job and it is demanding physically, mentally and emotionally. By the end of one day I am exhausted and then I have 2 1/2 more days to work. The work days are 10 hours and even I know that ridiculous.
So my ultimate question is if any one has tips or advice on how to deal with getting disability.
Thank you in advance for any advice or information. Blessings to you all !! PJ

Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Depending on what state you are in the wait time is a minimum of a year and usually longer.
I used a company called Allsup. You can find them online. They specialize in SSDI claims. I had a very good experience with them. And, I know other people who used them.
I've been disabled for almost 9 years. It was a really tough decision. Good luck.
Any and all information from someone who has walked in my shoes is soooo welcome. Best to you and I hope you're getting to enjoy your life more now.
I'm hoping and praying that I will be able to continue working !!
I don't want to go on disability but it is just getting so much harder.
Today we are off for an extra day of Christmas vacation - it is cold here and my legs and arms are weak and spasming with pain. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
Blessings to you and again thank you !! PJ
