Has or does anyone use Provigil for daytime fatigue? I have fibro and I'm pretty sure CFS as well. I can't stay awake longer than 2 or 3 hrs. during the day until I need to lie down for 20 minutes . Or, is there anything else you use for this awful fatigue?

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Eat smaller high protein meals more often during the day. Stay away from energy fixers like coffee and chocolate. When the sugar buzz wears off, you crash even harder.
Try a supplement called D-Ribose for energy. I use Corvalen which was originally developed for congestive heart failure patients. I've tried other D-Ribose brands but this one works the best for me. I have "chocolate" wafers. They taste terrible but do work. You can read about and order Corvalen online.
You can also try B12 with Folic Acid sublingual tablets. These are tablets that dissolve under your tongue. Folic acid is important so the B12 actually absorbs. The tablets have to be used in a specific manner. No drinking, smoking or tooth brushing for a half an hour before and after using a tablet. I keep a bottle on my bedside table which I use prior to trying to get up. It gives me a "push" to get started. You can find these tablets at a local healthfood store on online. BTW - You can use them throughout the day. You'll just expel the excess B12 in your urine.
I hope that my comments are helpful to you. Take care.
