I have severe pain at the pressure points in my buttocks. By
the days end, I can barely walk. I post
ed this some time ago, and someone mentioned some kind of a therapist who either massages the area or uses injections. Unfortunately, I mislaid the information. Can anyone help me?

So there are things called trigger points....essentially they are know in muscles and are extremely painful. I have one on my right lower back and I have one under each of my arm pits on my sides. There is a massage you can have done called trigger point release....I won't lie this is extremely painful and will hurt for a few days after but if you don't do anything that will just continue to hurt worse. Another thing you can sometimes do is get cortisone shots into the knots...this will also hurt but possibly not as much as the massage....

Thank you so much, Christine.The information I received originally mentioned the name of the people that administer the massage .I just can't remember their name. If I remember correctly, they resided in New Jersey. I live in the Philadelphia area. Please if anyone can help, I would be so grateful. Many Thanks

Sorry I can't help you with that part....I live in Illinois. You could just Google massage therapy in your area and see if they do those trigger point release.
