I have a question that I can't seem to get an answer to. Do any of you experience hand and feet pain? Like in the morning walking up to your hands hurting and not being able to move them. My feet throb and ache. Just wasn't sure and my doctor said it's because of inflammatory foods. Any feed back helps. Thank you

Yes i do! My hands hurt 24/7 though! My feet do too but i also have neuropathy in my feet. It is very common with Fibro as far as i know! My mom has it as well! Heating pad helps some on them.

It is common to be very stiff in the morning from Fibromyalgia. However, if your doctor has not looked into other causes of your hand and foot problems - they should. Not everything is caused by Fibromyalgia. And to dismiss your complaints as due to inflammatory foods is wrong too. Many people with Fibromyalgia have underlying issues such as rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. I have osteoarthritis in my fingers and elsewhere. Insist that further investigation be done such as xrays on your hands. Take care.

Thank you I talked to her one time like i said she thought it was inflammatory foods lol. She gets back on Monday so I'm going to call and make an appointment. What do you all use for pain?
twinmomab
I do, mine is caused by small fiber neuropathy and osteoarthritis. The second I complained my rheumy requested an x-ray of my hands. Get another doctor that cares more. That would my suggestion, but I know that can be hard to find sometimes.
Toughassteele
That's what's weird about it. I have loved my doctor. She has always had my back wonder if I just ask about x-rays if she would have me get some. The pain is unbearable sometimes
