i feel so sore and tired at the min even my eye lids ache people think I’m going mad I feel like my joints are puffy I have gp today at 4 hopefully try new meds but as I’m bi polar it’s hard to get anywhere I feel so so tired the way this illness has changed me as a person is unbelievable I’m not a quitter I do try and I have 4 kids so I have to keep going I’m just sick of the stigma of this condition between my pain brain fog and manic bi polar episode sometime I wonder what’s the point

Please don’t give up. Keep searching for a doctor who can help. Family and friends can be unknowingly mean about our illness. Keep taking care of yourself anyway. I took my husband along to a doctors appointment, and the doctor explained fibromyalgia to him. He was a believer after that. That may help you.

Welcome to the group. I agree with ida, please don't give up and keep fighting for you and for those kids. I only have 2 girls so I can't imagine 4 kids, but God gave you those babies for a reason. Don't waste it and just be all that you can be so you can equip them. I know how hard it is being sick with fibro and having kids, fibro is so hard and so painful, but we can't let it bet us. Keep looking for doctors that can help.

And don't be hard on yourself, it's so hard to not be discouraged and changed after being inflicted with pain 24/7. It's not our fault we got fibro and stuck with this disability. Hang in there and join our daily check-in for some extra support. Hugs

Thank you so much I’ve been to doctors today they will look at my meds nxt wk but I suffer with bi polar and she’s saying this is working against my fibromyalgia so hopefully Tuesday I might get somewhere I’m so sore it is hard and lonely but I’m glad I’ve found this site thank you so much I have people to talk to now x

Hi Lyns and welcome to this group. I hope your Drs can help with your struggles and I hope your pain levels improve.

My son was 5 when I started having chronic pain / fatigue. It was a challenge and I only had one kid .

Aloha Lyns. Welcome! I'm glad your doctor is looking at your medicines... I hope they can figure out something to help. Hugs, this illness can suck the life out of you. My mom has bipolar and chronic pain. I always have to remind her to pace herself, especially on those days she swings the other way and gets a load of high energy, wanting to do clean the whole house, reorganize the closets, fridge, etc. I always remind her be careful, you feel great today, but you'll pay for it tomorrow. So keep that in mind. One of the things about fibro is we have to pace everything we do. I hope to see you around here a lot. take care.

Thank you I am trying at the min I’m manic so hardly sleeping running around parkat 2.30 am then bed ridden for 3/4 days I can’t gwt help with pills till mental health team approve it’s like a on going battle but I know there’s others out there and this site has helped it’s just really hard but I will sort it eventually thank u for support the two illnesses fight each other I just want to be happy

    I'nm exhausted. This doxycycline thing has ripped me apart and I'm eating crackers  and water. I can't take (anything) or eat (anything) except saltines and toast and maybe unbuttered watery mashed potatoes. Are we sure the cure isn't worse than the possible disease?!?!And a week to go. ***Fun cures that WERE worse than the disease:ARsenic.
