I've taken olive leaf extract for a few years but now I'm looking at my dosage. I started using it because it's also an anti-fungal and my toenails were turning colors. Olive leaf extract and tea tree oil seem to have taken care of that nicely.
I usually buy mine at Swansonsvitamins.com. That way I get what I want and I don't have to go shop for it. Young people bring it in boxes right to my door. The online stores usually have deals, too. I think I save money ordering online. PuritansPride.com is pretty reasonable, too.
I use the site Luckyvitamin.com There are some things that I look for and find only on there and they always have discounts.

After reading the book i got in touch with a doctor who treats with antibiotics...but he is such a long way from where i live, and i would have to go quite often, so i decided to research natural antibiotics and thats when i came across olive leaf extract.
I found some reviews and experiences of others who tried it and it convinced me to at least try.
Thanks again and hoping we all find some relief somehow to these dreaded diseases.
Love and peace x
BUT , I would keep away from antibiotics myself. I am engrossed in a book that's got me scared outta my skin. I'd rather have fibro than MRSA or the next wave of resistant bugs. ugh. Scary stuff!! It's called Superbug, and booklist says:
Via several real-life firsthand accounts, public-health journalist McKenna lays bare, often all too graphically, the ravages of a disease with the potential to do grievous international harm because there is virtually no known treatment for it. Although humans and staphylococci have been close travelling companions virtually forever, and those pesky germs occasionally make our travels difficult, once upon a time scientists believed they had discovered the key to stifling staph infections forever: antibiotics. Case closed. But not so fast. There is a particularly feisty, methicillin-resistant strain, staphylococcus aureus, aka MRSA, that apparently has plans to outlast and outlive by outsmarting just about every known antibiotic thrown at it. First thought to reside solely within the walls of hospitals and to affect those with severely compromised immune systems, MRSA surreptitiously evolved a street persona. With the bacterias quick-changing, deadly brothers lurking in hospitals, gyms, and locker rooms, experts at the epicenter of research report that the hunt for a vaccine may be a last-ditch strategy to fend off a wily predator. --Donna Chavez

Olive leaf is a great anti-viral. But if you really the big guns: Oregano Oil is the powerhouse. Super anti-viral, anti-fungal.
I take "Wellness Formula" by Source Naturals. It has every anti-viral, anti-fungal, and all of the super immuno-boosters too that folks llike us should have. Another nice benefit is that many of the ingredients also help with energy. So I take it every day as a preventative measure, and more when something hits.
And if you really want to give it all you've got--try "Host Defense" by Fungi Perfecti. This mycomedicinal formula is so powerful that many take it to stay in remission from cancer. And it works too. My mother-in-law is celebrating her sixth year in remission from advanced stage four cancer.
There's lots of research to be found, and being continued, with these sorts of natural powerhouses. It'll be great to see how it effects the now known viral components of FM and CFS.
