New Pain Medication out called Journavx--anybody??

The FDA recently approved a new non-opioid pain medication called Journavx (suzetrigine) for treating moderate to severe acute pain in adults. This medication works by blocking pain signals before they reach the brain, making it a promising alternative to opioids.

I wanted to add, though it's $1000/month, yeah, ridiCulous! Let's make a fantastic new pain mediction that is non addictive that noone can afford, BAH. HOWEVER, actually, ,when it's not covered, then you can get it covered under their program, for $30/month.

THERE HASN'T BEEN A NEW PAIN MEDICATION FOR 25 YEARS!!! Not since Celebrex has their been this type of new frontier type of medication for those of us in chronic pain. It's acts on the sodium channel. Bionerd, will know about this. It ACTUALLY BLOCKS ANY SENSATION FROM THE NERVE ON THE SPINAL COLUMN!!!! Kind of like the new NOVACAINE, movie.
So, a 7 pain, according to their studies, comes down to a 3.5!!!!!! NEVER, have I ever, been able to be a 3.5 y'all. I get real insurance, hell yeah, i'm on this.

Can I get anyone to respond to this??

I read about it a while back. I doubt Medicare drug plans will cover it. So frustrating when they come out with this stuff and no one can afford it.

100 percent. it's a $1000. why make an alternative to opiod's when noone can take them that really really need them. fed up with pharma

    Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...
