New pain

I was told by my doctor in 2016 after10 years that I have fibromyalgia and this evening I started with a pain in my right leg at the top it's very painful when I'm sat down but when I am walking around my leg just wants to give in and I nearly end up face down on the floor I'm on gabapentine 600mg 3 times a day and sofadol 2 3 to 4 times a day but it's not doing any good at all has anyone got any help

Not everything is Fibromyalgia. If your leg pain is that bad, I think you should consider going to Emergency for an evaluation. I hope everything will be OK. Take care.

Cantor I know for sure it is fibromyalgia as they have done the test to rule out all the other conditions that are similar or like and my gp said all them were clear I also have IBS spondylitis a low vitamin d deficiency and since I was 18 and met my ex husband I have had depression which at the beginning of the marriage was fairly easy handle. I had 5 kids with him.We were married 11year and things started going wrong he push me down the stairs in 2005 which I ended up in Hull royal and had a big operation on my last back then in 2006 I ended up back in as yes he did it again and I had to have half a disk removed after that I was always in pain so they tried an injection I my Spain which did nothing ( the marriage was a violent one and sexualy abusive) then towards the end of 2015 he moved my neice into our home because '' she was supposed to be in a violent relationship and have type on diabetes and epilepsy ''and all them 4months she was there she got all she wanted when she was there they were having an affair so in the end I devorced him and now I have a new man in my I've who is a true gentle men who cares and he is the on who's helping me try to get all my things under control he took me to the DRS just before Xmas and I have to go for these blood test.
1 B12 folate. 2 B12 folate ferritin. 3 Bone profile. 4 ESR. 5 CBC. 6 GFR falcated abbreviated MDRD ( auto add). 7 Haemolysis check 8 HbA1c. 9 liver function test. 10. Thyroid Test ( TSH) 11 over andElectroytes all because my thumb on right hand keeps swelling up and can't bend it and same with left rist and hand

It wouldn't hurt to let your doctor know about this new pain if you haven't already. All the weather changes going on in my area are throwing my Fibro all out of wack too, and causing muscle like spasms. I hope you get to feeling better.

Have you been checked for auto immune diseases? The swelling is suspicious ? RA , and so on.

I have been to see my new gp and he sent me for some blood test which I had done this morning there was around 10 test that he wanted doing and I know that there was one for anemia so I have to wait now for a few days before I find out anything it nevracking waiting but I have a amazing loving guy by my side now so he helps keep me going

Thank you for letting us know. I know what you mean about a lot of blood tests being done. When I was in the thick of being diagnosed, they tapped 10 vials at least twice. If you'd feel comfortable sharing when you get results, I'd love to know if they end up finding anything. It's always good to know of possible answers to help with looking in the right direction for a diagnosis. Best of luck with everything!
