Nasty spider bit effecting Fibro

Last Month when I got a lung infection I got bit by either a Hobo or wolf spider everyone thinks it was a brown recluse except my Doc. I have a deep ulcer in my leg and its effecting my Nerves its that deep/ tonight the pain is out of control I;m crying myself to sleep it burns and stings shooting down my leg now my neckand head hurts but so does my entire body I don't know what to do I'm being treated like a drama Queen wanting attention who wants this pain I'm afraid to express it to anyone now. I don't know what to do but sit in the dark and cry.

Dear Kitty, I'm so sorry for all of your pain. I suggest you see another doctor. You need pain relief. You deserve pain relief. Get help from another medical professional.

GO TO THE ER, please! Skin ulcers are bad, and if they're painful, subsequent to any animal or insect bite/sting, that's not good. The fact it burns and is causing shooting pains is also not good. At he very least, this ulcer on yoru skin needs professional wound care at a proper clinic. An ER might be able to refer you to one, etc. (We had to do this with my mom for a spider bite a few years ago.)

I agree with Leo. I use to work at an outpatient wound/ burn clinic as a nurse - things like this can get out of control fast.

I agree with everyone else. You need to see a wound specialist ASAP. At the very least, go to DR immediately. Please let us know the outcome. Take care of yourself.

Thanks for the hugs I think tomorrow I will go to ER but they are tied into my insurance so they can access my medical records I have Kasier and I found out the other docs are uncomfortable with giving me pain meds on a good day I only take 5 vicodin bad day 6 to 7. I wish I could post a pic for ya'll to see it is healing awesome a nurse lives across the street and she came to look at it she is an experienced wound care nurse and she said I'm doing a good Job taking care of it I just don't know what to do everyone is so sick of hearing about my wound that I have kept it to myself plz pray for me Thanks for ya support

I need to ask what do I say to the ER doc I got bite a month ago and I can;t take the pain anymore ???
I'm tired my mind just wants to give up but I can't give up

Sorry if I am confused. If the nurse says it is healing well, then your pain is because of the fibro, not because of the bite. Is that right?

What works for my fibro Ian Cymbalta, 30 mg. only 30, because more gives me side effects.

Its healing but I get sharp electric pain from it that shoots down my leg and as for my fibro this has triggered a full body flare up. I'm on blood thinners so drugs that are an antiflam I can not take. I take Gabapentin and amitriptaline for my pain and once in a while a Toradol shot.I hope this helps and the spider bite is deep I'm having to let it grow from the inside out

Sending hugs.

I had flesh-eating strep in Jan-Feb of this year and bits of me that "fell out" are still not all the way grown back in a couple of the "deep" spots, so I sympathize. The pain is horrible when it goes all hot-wire like that. I would lie with tears on my cheeks, biting a pillow to keep from yelling a few time.

    Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...
