My left arm is a mess. I know we are not Drs , I cant get into see my Dr until Jan 12th. This is mostly a vent and any suggestions are welcome.
The area it started is the upper forearm below between the elbow and crook of arm . The area is swollen with lumps in it, Sometimes my hand and wrist will hurt too and my fingers will get numb. The pain gets even worse if I use it , bend it, or hanging down . Now three days later the crook of the arm hurts.
My Percocet pain meds dont help at all. I have tried Arnica and 2 old goats and they did not help. I tried wrapping it with an ace and that made it worse. Ice will help a little bit for a little while and supporting it with a pillow. It doesnt help that I am left handed - I am trying to be right handed for now. I cant take anti inflammatorys orally because of chronic stomach issues. Heat doesnt help at all.
I dont know what started this. Sunday I cleaned up a lot of dog poo in the back yard ( there was more then usual because I had been sick with a virus and sinus infection). I did it all at once because ice and snow were on the way. All the symptoms started the next day - Monday. The symptoms have gotten worse each day.
The walk in clinics around here are too stupid for something like this. I would like to avoid the ER if I can - they are going to be busy with the holiday and weekend - so long waiting around sick people.
I might try a product if I can find it called Topricin. Has anyone tried it before.?

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...

All that said? Do what you can for yourself, okay? And do *not* rule out the ER, okay? They'll be less busy before midnight tonight is my guess.
Gentle healing prayers to you, wish I could do more.
There was no trauma to my arm. I am thinking it is from the repetition of using the long shovel to pick up dog poo and then putting it in a paper bag over and over etc using my left hand/arm .
Good luck.
I have no suggestions. I just wanted to send to some warm comforting hugs. I hope it gets better every day. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Gentle hugs.
