If it is protein powder:
Most I know of are made of whey or soy. Both of these products may contribute to inflammation in sensitive people.
They also often contain artificial coloring. Artificial coloring may or may not contain gluten, depending on the type of coloring. Again, may cause inflammation in sensitive people.
Finally, many of them contain sucralose to lower the calorie count. Sucralose has been linked to migraines and gastrintestinal issues.
If it is creatine, I know very little about it. WebMD has info here:

Hope this helps!
I could be just walking and then boom, legs go jelly like and weak. I would still have control but it was a weird feeling.
I Use the protein powder before Going to physical therapy and before my aqua therapy but I know some say to take it after work outs.
However for me I use it to give me a boost in energy and endurance.
The powder I have is loaded with amino acids and has 18 g of protein per scoop. I really need more protein in my diet and the powder is a great addition to my daily intake.
The powder I use is gluten free, artificial sweetener free too which is important for me. It uses stevia to sweeten which is fine but you can hardly tell.
For me It does not make the fibro symptoms worse or causes me side effects that I know of. That's just my experience with the brand I use.
