YES the medication list CAN be saved! It's saved under the date and a number. I figured that out after I had went through the same process everyday for a week, got tired after entring meds and gave up. LOL Yo ucan also call them, there's a number on there, someone can help you on the phone to pick a plan. I ended up choosing a new plan called Universal Healthcare. It is a PPO, I can choose my doctors. I have $20copay for doc appts, $50 for specialist, $10 for urgent care $65 for ER and it covers all except 1 medication that I take.

I have been on Humana Choice Medicare PPO for about 6 years. I am staying with them as they pay for my weekly IVIG treatment that cost 4,000 dollars. Alot of insurance companies won't cover the needed IV treatments I require. I believe you will be happy with Humana, I have been very pleased with them.

I am on SSD, under 65, and have had Humana, a Medicare Advantage Plan for the past 14 yrs. Medicare takes about $100 as a monthly deductible from my check before I get it. PCP visits are $10, specialists are $20. The main difference for me is the lower deductible if I end up in the hospital for one of my conditions. I don't have trouble finding a doctor that will accept my insurance, and prescription coverage is included. I know I'd be more anxious without my present plan. Promised myself I would ignore this today......wish we had Humana Medadvantage. We just have Humana RX and my Mom uses it with her supplement.

I pay $99.00 for Regence PPO Medadvantage with a $15.00 copay for my Dr. but a $40.00 for specialists and thankfully I only have to use it a few times a year.

One time I added up what it would cost me to pay just for RX and Dr. visits in a year and it actually came up to less than it would have if I only had medicare. Since DH works we would not qualify for any help from the state as we are the working poor but!

Well, I checked with my doctor's office and they don't take any of the plans you guys mentioned. The only affordable one for me would be United Health Care here in CA. Unfortunately, it looks like my Health Center is breaking the contract with them and it won't be available next year and even if the negotiations hold up they will only take this insurance in half of the offices. How confusing is that?

United health care has a lot of Dr.'s here who refuse to take it, I am not sure why.

In the years of helping mom with medeicare and my few years I feel the whole medicare issue to be extremely confusing.

I saw a pan on TV that sounds a lot better than the plan I signed up for... but I guess it's too late to change it now. Plus I don't know if the new plan would be accepted by my doctors and I dont know if my meds would be covered either, so I think the one I chose, that took me SO long to find..is good .guess I should just stick with what i chose.

Humana sounds great for everyone that has it. I couldn't because my doctors dont' take it. I had to get a PPO. So my copays are going to be $20. I'd much rather have them be $10 :) Also Humana didn't cover all my meds as much as the one I chose which I forgot the name of, but look back a few messages, I wrote it down...LOL. brain fog.

United Health Care is run by AARP. No one in my area will accept it either. I wonder if its because the AARP supported Obamacare?
