Hey everyone.
So DS is giving everyone problems...again. And over the years, it's clear that this is just going to keep going on and on.
I'm considering starting a FibroGroup on FB. Where we can do the exact same thing as we do here. If everyone is willing, Leo could still do her daily posts, and we all join in. We could still post the latest and greatest research. We can still vent, celebrate, and cope just the same. But w/out the frustrations as we have here.
What are your thoughts?? I could have it up and running lickety split.

While I appreciate the frustrations, I would not be able to follow you to Facebook. I have issues with FB--I don't think they respect their users privacy, I don't trust their algorithms and I don't have nor would I be making a facebook account.
If everyone else jumps ship, I'll have to find an alternative, as I'm not going to change my opinion on facebook. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be difficult.
Weirdly, I have not had any problems posting like everyone else has. Maybe the whole DS system is too busy in the am? I post in the afternoon or evening and have not had any problems. Has anyone complained to DS and/or spoken to a moderator?
I appreciate this feedback. It's just getting harder and harder here to reach what I need here on DS. Leaving me and others left without due to log on and batch end issues.
And I get the privacy thing too. Which is one reason why we all fell into this group to begin with.
If I decide to go through with a FB group, know that it would be a private group. I don't want others viewing or seeing what we post or how we post. I want it to real, raw and an escape. Just one that works. But with that said, unless you used a fake name on FB (which some do), there would be no other way to conceal who you are. And I know of a member from long ago who needed to be concealed, even then she was found, here on DS so she had to leave.
But if I do go through with it, I would still try like I am now to post here too. FB just makes it so much easier and I think that is what is driving these frustrations even higher for me at least with DS.
And with all of that said, I'll copy, just in case, cross my fingers, my toes, my arms and eyes in hopes that this posts.
But after all of these years being on DS here, each time there are issues like this, several people drop off. It's sad to see the group diminish each time because it takes DS weeks to resolve these issues. After being off the page for 10-14days, it takes them a while to make their way back.
I do however want to thank all of you for your feedback.
