Kandyland, I really like the hug idea :)
Mizroze, I have had a fever for a while related to my autoimmune stuff, at least that's what I thought. I never really checked during the chills. I'll have to do that,
Abotsd, I haven't used a heating pad, but I do bundle up at night, sounds like you! I even wear gloves to bed in the winter.
Imaskeered, they told me about my brain getting used to the floaters, but didn't give me a name. Now I know--PVD. Thanks!
Thanks for all your support and kind words, everyone!
Second time it happened, again I didn't know what in the heck was going on. But now I was getting dizzy spells. I go into the doc, and I walk out with a heart monitor. (yah, that was good for my anxiety).

By now I had migraines that would drop me. Dizzy spells and it wasn't until I talked with a friend who had Fibro that we realized I should ask my doc if everything was related or not.
Since all of that and the Fibro Dx...I've had a few of these 'Chill' like spells. I now understand them to being a misfire of nerves, and over load. But always have your doc check into things.
Hugs to you!
I take Lyrica now and it has made an amazing difference for that. No more shivers for no reason and less twitching in my finger..plus the tremors in my hands are much milder. I still get mild hot spots on occassion and mild burning pain but it is nothing like what I had before the lyrica.
I hope it get's better. I know anxiety is one of my worst enemies. If I get stressed, it's over! I take a hot bath, lay on my heating pad and count my blessings. Even if I have to start with the little bitty ones! Well, I hope the venting helps! I know it keeps me sane... Well, as sane as I can be.

Other times it starts and spreads, then starts and spreads, like a big shiver over and over again. Does that sound the same?
