Hello Everyone!!
I guess this is just a vent... I had lost 35 lbs around 6 months ago and managed find it all again. I know its a combination of things. 1) I've been having more pain since the colder months moved in and exercise has become nearly impossible. If I didn't work I probably wouldn't get around much. 2) The wonderful holidays filled with big holiday dinners and all the sugary, buttery and calorie filled treats.
I am just feeling defeated and disappointed in myself for gaining it all back. My hubby is wonderful! He helps me so much and is so supportive. I just wish I could just feel "painless" and have enough energy to hang out with him without having to take an afternoon nap like a toddler. I'm just scared one day he'll decide I'm more work than he bargained for.
On a good note, I FINALLY took down my Christmas tree and decorations Yay! One thing off of my infinite to-do list.
Wishing you all wonderful pain free days ahead!

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...
I understand that you feel defeated about having energy to do things. It is tough. I have tried to adopt the idea of doing what I can and the rest will wait. You just have to decide what is important and how best to divide your energy on.
It sounds like you have one of the good husbands. I wouldn't worry too much about him. Sometimes afternoon naps can be fun too.
As for those naps....I take one everyday!! Love it!
Then when I feel badly, it is really hard to exercise, AND I don't lose weight anyway.
So, for me the cycle is this: The more weight I have on, the less energy I have to exercise. The less I exercise, the more weight I put on and the more pain I feel.
Then even if I do exercise and watch what I eat, I do not lose weight.
This is just a vicious cycle and you are not alone. We all understand. Hugs to you
