I had posted this over on the Bipolar Support Group 7/30/14 but haven't gotten any answers. So of course I thought of all of you wonderfully amazing people and thought I would lay it out here just to see if someone knows.
So my insurance company will now only cover my daughter's Invega if we go through the Mail order - which would be fine EXCEPT that the mail order doesn't accept electronic scripts...you either have to fax it or mail it. Which again, would be fine EXCEPT that her pdoc doesn't remember to fax ANYTHING right away!

So does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative? G is on 3 mg of Invega per day and has been doing Great...she also takes 10 mg escitalopram (generic Lexapro) - she also takes 2 mg of gaunfacine (generic Tenex) and 27 mg Concerta for ADHD.

I deal with a mail order pharmacy too. I have one doctor who does not do all the follow through needed for some of my meds.
I call in the script, wait a few days, call the pharmacy back, if they have not received all of the necessary paperwork, I call the dr. I continue doing this until the meds are in the mail. It's a hassle and I hate it, but I keep doing it.
