My jaws ache from not saying what I want to say. I know, I know! Where's my happy? I've no idea.
Let's just say that right now, I miss 2020 lockdown. Go away, world! shoo!

The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve on humans, and if you get too stressed, you can "vagal" ---- or, as we nbot-medical types call it, stress yourself into a faint. The vagal response triggers nausea, dizziness, sweating (the classic cold seat of terror), and ringing in the ears, as well as fainting.
Are you going deaf? Possibly not. Build up of earwax, as well as stuffy sinuses, can cause the clogged "dulled" feeling in one or both ears. That said, I've had one this year for about 4 months, and my meh-GP on Friday may have an answer or just tell me to stop pretending. He's that kind. Anyway ---- TMJ can also trigger the feeling. Welcome to the wonderful world of *nerves*! All that tight-jawed grinding teeth can cause inflamed angry nerves in the cranium (pain, in other wordss) and you can get tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Mostly, hwoe er, it's earwax and/or infection.
The sciatic nerve that runs roughly from your butt to your ankle is, at its largest, about as thick as your thumb. No wonder it feels like that when it's mad. Ow. That's a lot of nerve.
Your optic nerve (sight) is the only cranial nerve to leave the cranium! Into your eyeball, of course, which is technically residing in the skull, but you get the idea. Details, deatils.

And on that note, I'm off to glare at the calendar. I have 3 medical app'ts this week, and my physical is the one I dread most. This GP is all I can get, and he's just .... He looks for issues, which is good in one way, but bad in another. I mean, if I'm riding a hormone hell-train, no, my bloodwork will NOT look like it will 2 weeks later. Why are docs not taught this? And why does my physical always coincide with my period the last few years?! ARGH... He's the doc, why am I the one explaining physiology?!
Rant over, off to glare at the world for not just.... whatever. yeah, one of those days. Ah, PMS in the "change of life" years. So many nerves to get on...

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...
It's sunny and looking like a nice day out there. I am still feeling pretty frazzled and tired. I have an appointment in a couple of hours. Past that point, I have no idea. My partner is home and as usual the TV is blaring.
My CPAP is destroying my skin on one side of my face. I have some adult acne issues that were pretty much under control until I got my CPAP. I have constant breakouts on the side that I sleep on. It is both depressing and really annoying. Having sensitive skin to begin with doesn't help either. I have an appointment with the dermatologist coming up. Hoping that she has some ideas to help. I'm sick of looking like a pimply teenager on one side of my face.
AngelaJo, Merry and Milily - I hope that you are feeling better today.
Going to get my chores done and hope that by some miracle that I have an attitude adjustment. Group hug!
Massive migraine right now. I am just about to lay back down i barely even touched my coffee. The mobic is helping some and my mouth hurts less with that than it did with motrin. But my mouth still hurts a lot, my whole mouth is hurting. hate mouth infections. orajel does not last long. My back is hurting a lot but not like it was over the weekend so thats a plus. The mobic is helping the fibro pain in my legs and feet a lot and my hands hurt less! first time in a year or more i got any relief in my hands! they normally are extremely painful and swollen even the swelling is down it has the be the mobic.
Leo, say what you want to say. We don’t want your jaws hurting.
Unfortunately for my hubby, he really is going deaf. I have gotten to the point where I think someday I will have to learn sign language. Even with hearing aids, he can’t hear. Some of the things he thinks I say are unbelievable. Our grandchildren have fairly soft voices, and I’m constantly telling him that T is trying to tell you something. The kids are learning to tap on him so he knows they want to tell him something. I guess it’s fortunate that I inherited my dad’s booming voice. And it’s a little low. Hubby can’t hear high tones at all. He does pretty well on the phone though, which is good.
Fantod, sorry about your cpap causing skin problems. Those things are horrible, if you ask me. Yet needed. I’m supposed to have one, but can’t sleep at all with it. I know. Not good. But my doctor doesn’t push it. He knows what it does to me. Hope today is an improvement.
Angela, hope the migraine subsides. I think I understand your mouth pain a bit from having TD. It’s been so bad at times that I sit there with my mouth hanging open, only able to eat ice. I hope you feel better soon.
Yesterday was rough. I slept most all day. I was still exhausted this morning. I’m doing better now.
Our son wants our old clunky tv, so we are hauling it up there today, and watching E play soccer. I know tomorrow will be another tough day. But I have nothing going on, so I might as well be in pain and exhausted for something to do.
We are totally unhooked from cable. I’m enjoying the streaming a lot. I sure wish I had listened to everyone and done this long ago.
Take care
My knee hurts awful. I am tired of it interfering with my sleep. I need my sleep.
I clench my jaw when my anxiety or stress is high. I try to remember to relax it. I didn't realize it can cause tinnitus. I also have to wear a mouth guard when I sleep because if I don't I would grind my teeth away. When I rarely fall asleep without it I wake up with face pain and jaw pain and headaches .
I just spoke to my Dad and he was actually pleasant . It helped that he was half awake and groggy. The Coumadin clinic that he goes to left a message at my house that he hadn't been there since May. He did have his levels checked when he was in the hospital in earlier July though.
This lady probably thinks his adult children can force my Dad there , the reality is he doesn't listen to us either. Anyhow , I called her back and got voice mail .
