Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
Happy Monday - I hope you're all well and less pain and discomfort than yesterday.
I need a virtual hug and understanding ear. I can tell I'm flaring up but have so many more symptoms than I've ever had. I just looked up the top 27 symptoms and have every dang one of them. I feel like my whole body is one neurological, muscular, emotional mess.
Sometimes I just think I can't keep doing this. I am having to bow out of committments ( fun holiday stuff ) at the last minute because my body crashes without warning . I am so tired of having to do this and feel like a flaky person. And to be honest, I feel like a loser.
I'm typically a grateful person but I'm having a hard time keeping that positive attitude. The holidays don't make it easier. :(
I know alot of you struggle more than I do so I appreciate your kind ear. Thank you for listening ! You're all the best.
Blessings and warm hugs to you ! xoxo Penni

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

Oh yes I understand for sure. Here with you, I promise you’re not alone. I’ve been up all night with painsomnia myself. I will be alone on the holidays, but I will light a candle for everyone I care about on this group for Christmas & that includes you.
Try to be gentle with yourself
Sending support, strength & hope
Big hug <3
I’m missing all of my grandchildren’s Christmas programs for this year. Plus I missed 2 of their December birthday parties. I won’t be able to go to the Christmas Eve service at church with my family either. This is the first time in my life that I will miss it. Yes, I’m sad. But I’m accepting it. Try and do that for your own well-being. Do everything at home that makes you feel good. Take care.
I am sending my love, hugs and unconditional love and acceptance to you all. I also know that sometimes my words don't feel like enough. I've learned that these thoughts and feelings are part of our fibro .
Love you all - Penni xoxo
