I've only been diagnosed for afew months but I'm learning that i've had symptoms for at least 5 years. From the bumps on my tongue to the sharp pains in my feet. I'm wondering if something else I'm feeling is a symptom. I'm in landscaping so being sweaty and dirty never use to bother me. However, now being sweaty(which is daily),dirty or sticky makes me feel agitated. I can't seem to wash my hands enough. Does this bother any one else or am I weard? Also I want to say I've never set up a facebook or even chatted on a chat line before. This is my first discussion and I feel your support already. Thank you !
I do believe the Fibro makes all of us more irritable in general. Just sitting in a room listening to someone else's music or conversation can set me off these days. Good luck and glad you joined the group.

After many months of research, I came across the fact that RSD or sometimes referred to as CRPS ( Complex Regional Pain Syndrome).
It can be brought on by an injury or recent research has indicated that severe stress can also cause it. Severe sweating is one of the symptoms. I can say that hot flashes are nothing compared to this type of sweating. Also, I have read where some fibro patients suffer from this type of sweating as well. Hyperhydrosis is a medical term for a condition in which people sweat profusely such as this and it is a life changing and altering condition for many people. I wrote to them, and they have been very helpful to me. I would suggest that you could search out the National Hyperhydrosis Foundation ( I think that is the name ). Just do a google search on hyperhydrosis and you should locate it. It can be a condition by itself which is called primary hyperhydrosis. Also, there is another type which is known as secondary hyperhydrosis. This type is caused by another disease and it is a underlying problem from the other disease. This is what they have determined that I have and that RSD is the primary diagnosis.
Just thought this might be of interest and help. They offer a lot of good tips and have a newsletter. Also, bamboo clothing and bed sheets are great because I sweat so bad at night that I cannot sleep. Also, there are special mattress pads made by Select Comfort which help to keep your bed cooler.
