I'm sorry for you... I have always said that itch is probably the worst... if they want to do a bio warfare weapon, that would be the thing to do! ugh

We've all heard that an oatmeal bath can help soothe dry, itchy skin. Lest you think it's time to pour Quaker Oats into your bathtub, know that the oatmeal of an oatmeal bath is different than your breakfast staple. For a skin moisturizing oatmeal bath, you need to use colloidal oatmeal.
Colloidal oatmeal comes from grinding oats into a very fine powder that is able to disperse in water. This quality prevents it from just sinking to the bottom of the tub. It will give you a soothing, milky oatmeal bath that does wonders for dry itchy skin - perfect for colder weather and drier air.
Besides being an excellent winter skin remedy, colloidal oatmeal is fantastic for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and sunburn; skin benefits also include the soothing of skin irritated by poison ivy, poison oak or bug bites.
To get the most from an oatmeal bath, just add a couple of cups of colloidal oatmeal right under the running bathwater. Be sure to keep the water temperature warm, rather than hot. Hot water feels great, but it will just add to the itchy irritation of your skin.
You can make your own colloidal oatmeal by processing the oatmeal in a coffee grinder or blender until it is a fine powder. You can use slow-cooking oats, fast-cooking oats or even instant oatmeal - stick with the unflavored kind - and test the fineness of the powder by mixing a bit in a glass of warm water.
One word of caution when you step into your oatmeal bath: it will make the tub and the water more slippery than usual, so be careful you don't slip and fall
