Are you taking meds that could be a side effect?
Just make a list of everything you have changed or meds you are on, I know it aggravating but a dermatoligist would put you through testing which you can probably figure out yourself,
Sounds like heat rash or maybe yeast, Good luck Remember diaper rash on babies were bumpy and itchy,
sorry no help here really, just keep your showers cool if you can not to make the skin hotter?....
I hadn't changed anything either, soap, detergent, food, everything is the same. It's gotten better over time and not as red and itchy as it was but still there. Wonder if this a new symptom for us?

My docs tell me it is sensitive nerve endings near the skin surface. It makes sense to me. The spots that get itchy on me are places were clothes have a tendency to brush or rub my skin.
Good luck....gentle hugs.
Here is an interesting article...

I almost always have some kind of rash. Right now it is on my breasts and left hip..drives me crazy!!! I have been to various doctors and the emergency room of a hospital in a small Alberta town. The doc there had never seen anything like it. At that time it was on my back and all over my front, including my breasts and my arms and legs. That was the worst it ever was. He gave me 5 days of steroids. Pretty much knocked it out for a while. But just when I started to feel comfortable again it returned but not in the same way. Thankful for that. Right now it is just various patches on my body. I HATE it...

Great article. I saw Dr. Wallace several years ago as he is well recognized for lupus and fibro as well.
I don't recall which but one of my doctors recommended SARNA lotion OTC. It is an anti-itch lotion. Only problem is for anyone sensitive to smell, it does have a smell, but I've been able to tolerate it. Also rx Atarax, but it does have side effects.... makes you drowsy and some others. Being drowsy has been the only one I've experienced. I only use it after I've clawed my skin raw- which was just a couple of nights ago. Miserable feeling, but I've experienced it for several years. As Sue B noted, I tend to experience it more during winter months, but also seem to be allergic to some flowering plants during summer if I even walk by them in a garden. Haven't been able to determine which plants. Hope you get some relief.
