Hi out there,
I'll just quickly say hello. I accidentally typed help, but maybe that's what I meant? The good ol' Freudian slip? :-)
I'm a mother of 3 - 2 teenage daughters and 1 pre-schooler son with Autism. He is a billion things more important than ASD, but it's a focus of our lives since we recognized he was not talking and giving high-5's back to us at 13 months of age. Wow, was it really that long ago?
I'm married and my husband and I have been together nearly 16 years.
I've been a prisoner of depression for DECADES but only recently found a medicine that helped it at all. Cymbalta has made a difference for me. But then I realized that I ached and hurt, even when I didn't feel like spending all day in bed. That's when I think it dawned on me that I really have fibro. I was hurting before, but I hurt FAR MORE now in the last few months.
I am a SAHM, but I've got a huge student loan that I can't pay because I can't work. Who would have ever hired me with my chronic migraines? Then it was depression and migraines. Then it was depression and painful arms, legs, and disabling tension headaches. Now, we're to Fibro. And there's plenty of fog in all of those places to go around.
I have lots of questions for daily living, but they'll keep. I just really wanted to say hello and hope that I can find some friendly faces. My husband and kids are tired of hearing that "I hurt. My (insert body part) is killing me." So they have tuned me out to complaining or my way of trying to be positive when I just sing my way through the day.
Thanks for reading this much. I know it's a lot!

I HOPE YOU HAVE A BLESSED NIGHT. HUGS, CHRIS
Okay, suggestion. And keep in mind that I have never had a migraine so have never tried it. I read that taking the herb "feverfew' every day both reduces the amount of migraines you have, and when you do have them, helps to make them less severe. Try to google it, and read the 'real' facts about it, and not the ones presented by those who are trying to sell their herbs. Good luck!
