When I'm having a bad day, hurting, tired, brain fog, all I want to do is sit quietly and watch TV or read. I don't want to talk on the phone or to anyone, including my husband. This helps me regain my energy.

Drink extra fluids.
Sleep more if I can.
Still make sure I do self-care and gentle stretching and very light exercise so I don't "lock up".
Sometimes after the moist heat, my husband or daughter will massage the really nasty areas, which helps - if I can tolerate being touched.
Another thing Is I use my heating pad while I'm on the couch or in bed watching Netflix. I've watched everything from Despereate Houwewives to Roswell to One Tree Hill ... It's better than a movie, you get used to the same characters, and you get sucked into the drama of what is going to happen next. I love getting lost in Netflix. :) works for depression sometimes too.
