bluesuns- see why this group is great for depresson?? that was a good laugh there huh?
omg! i'm still laughing, okay lets get serious so i can reply whoo! okayl
i knit but thats probably not for you. i actually had the same problems when i got sober so i feel ya. its along the lines of depresson nothing was interesting anymore.
renting movies, reading, playing with my kids, i clean my house when i'm bored, i call my friends, do facebook, myspace, write people here on DS, do to my theripists, i heard someone else suggest yoga, i took that up and its relaxing and good for the body AND mind, great for anxiety, and its great for fibro.
i think all of these suggestions have been said. just keep busy, stay productive, when you stay productive you feel good about what you did, clean your car, re arange your room, help a friend with a problem, help someone on here... those kinds of things.
sorry i can't be of more help
and i do like the beach, but i can't lay out in the sun all day every day, plus we do get rain here.
unduki, your suggestions have cracked me up so bad! LOL
i didn't twirl my self around but one of my cats enjoyed being spun around till he was dizzy! he wanted it over and over sometimes. crazy thing.
you all have given me good ideas to think about. i have thought about taking ukulele classes (i'll have to buy one) and i've also always wanted to play the guitar. i've also wanted to go back to painting again. these are just some of the things i should probably motivate myself to do.
see this is why i come here... you guys rock!
