Today I woke up at 5:45 a.m. to go pick up my mom from her work and I honestly also fell asleep while driving... Oh boy! I'm okay but that has never happened to me! My mom drove home, and then I crashed. Then my grandma called me on her cell phone like 5 times in till I got up and I literally started crying, like ugly crying because she woke me up... And then I got really angry because I was out doing errands instead of sleeping. And to top it all off, when I got home after doing errands with her I COULDN'T GO TO SLEEP!!!! I had like a breakdown like at 3:30 p.m. ugly crying again because I couldn't go back to sleep. This fatigue is going to kill me. Luckily I'm on Thanksgiving or Holiday Break from college. Huh... Well I hope you all are doing a lot better than I am today.
Sending loving huggies... xo Lily

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

It is time to have a sit down with the family. Grandma needs to understand that you are chronically ill and need to rest. Mom needs to figure out a way to get home,so you are not driving under these circumstances. This is about setting boundaries that are respected. If Grandma needs errands run, either she waits until you can do some or all of them. Or, she figures out another option if there is an immediate need. Calling you repeatedly is IMHO rude. It should have occurred to her after maybe the third time, that you were simply not up to it.
This is about respecting your limits - both you and them. Not getting enough rest can, among other things, trigger a flare. Once a flare starts, it can last a couple of days, a week, weeks or even months. I understand the ugly crying which is a product of sheer desperation to be left alone so you can rest. And, then getting so agitated that it is impossible to sleep. It is important that you communicate your needs to your family and that they listen and adjust their expectations.
I hope that you can get this sorted out. Take care.
I usually wouldn't break down about doing the absolutely necessary things. I'd break down when I was doing something that I didn't dare say no to even when my body screamed at me that it's impossible. When a panic attack looms, I start cancelling. My chronic illness doesn't care about social niceties, so if I'm going to be happy in my limited health, I need people to understand that they can't have "regular" expectations of me.
Sorry you're struggling with the fatigue. Take care.
