I also have DDD, stenosis in neck, arthritis, hypothyroid, depression, anxiety, plantar fascitis, and chronic gastritis. That's all I can come up with right now....I guess it's enough!

I have Fibro, degenerative disc disease, Stenosis of the spine, 3 discs encroaching on my spinal chord, anemia, arthritis, and just too many things to keep track of. Depression has to be the worse, along with the chronic fatigue. Hugs GB

I have fibro, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, COPD (emphysema) and yet to be determined reason for feeling like I am going to pass out. Also have depression and anxiety and IBS. Going to see neurologist so may get some other diagnosis too! Ugh, I sure hope not though. Can't really say which thing at this point is bothering me most as many of them carry their own challenges. Just trying to take things one moment at a time.

Wow - In addition to the Fibro I have CFS, DDD, Depression and anxiety and hypothyroid.

I have asthma, ibs, and dealing with depression.

I have DDD Cervical and lumbar, plantar fascitis, GERD, hiatal hernia, IBS, Chronic Myofacial Pain Syndrome, and the anxiety and depression comes and goes when I get a new symptom or when I'm about to start or after my period. Seems like we all have similar issues. So glad to know I'm not as crazy as I think I am. LOL

You raise a good issue. From what I have seen, fibro is like a monkey wrench that affects several systems. I have IBS-C which I control by staying gluten and dairy free. Non-restorative sleep is a marker for almost everyone, but in my case Cymbalta fairly much takes care of it. I was also diagnosed with degenerative spine disease, but with Cymbalta it went away except that I couldn't wear heels. Interestingly, now with naltrexone, I was able to wear some medium heels Saturday night.

I see that many of us have degenerative spine disease, but I am now convinced that it is not "real" in the following sense. When the doctor diagnosed me, he did so primarily because of the amount of back pain I had and he told me that back pain was a complex issue. He said that you could have someone with a lot of back pain and very mild clinical findings and then there would be someone else whose back looks dreadful (on MRI) and have no pain at all. So, I am thinking that our spine disease is simply due to our heightened sensitivity. Does that make sense at all?

On another one of your posts, diagnosis takes forever because, it is an exclusionary condition. In other words,physicians have to rule out everything else first given that there is no clinical test for fibro. Also, some doctors don't believe it exists. HA!

I have Moya Moya disease, seizures, heart problems,ptsd,depression,anxiety,panic attacks,hypercoagulable State,osteopenia,gerd,headaches,migraines,high cholesterol,hyperthyroid,constipation,trouble sleeping,hot flashes(had a full hysterectomy in 06 I was 28.) forgetfulness,fibrofog,fibro of course.I also have to be on warfrain for the rest of my life.
this is all that I can remember off the top of my head at this time.

Emily, I think you are right, very interesting. I will try and look up your old post. I noticed the most similar issues are DDD, Plantars and Thyroid issues. This is a crazy syndrome we have. (((hugs)))

I have dilated cardiomyopothy so i have a pacemaker w/ defib. I have had both foot surgery for plantars facitis. Both hands carpal tunnel. Depression, psoriatic arthritis,migranes,ibs, had gallbladder removed,hysterectomy.... I'm 44 and have had a surgery a year the past 10 years. I feel like I'm 80....

OMG Kim, I'm so sorry, I'm 45 and feel 80 most of the time. What made you decide to get foot surgery for Plantars? Lately I can hardly walk on my right foot, it is getting worse.
