this is all i know that might help. but food stamps and a food pantry may help as well. i hope someone here can give you some good answers honey. you sure deserve some. you are a true survivor.
Know you are not a lone, and there are lots of us that care very much. I know that really doesn't help, and I wish there were some thing I could do, or say that would make things easier for you.
Sending you some caring, loving thoughts.
Gentle hugs, Sherrall

Find someone else who needs your attention. You might think it a minor step, but contact someone who needs a smile or hello, today. Know an older person who may be lonely and would just like to hear an encouraging word from another? I bet you can do it...and count the blessings you may have forgotten . Don't get me wrong....I KNOW these suggestions are not easy at this point, but if you can help or give a good thought each day to another needy person, you will be the benefactor in a big way.
I'm "conuntin'" on you.

WOW, so much to go through in basically - short period of time. Where do I begin for you...first off no matter what hun, you need to find time for Jeannie! A walk, visit to museum, nice bath, anything.
Next, I can relate, as 5 yrs ago this month, I started going through a lot similar. Stopped my job - doc said no big noticeable thing..just many things together..Bi-Polar, fibro, arthritis, skin cancer carcema always being removed.. and ?? A hodge podge of things that brought me down too. Top it off my ex couldn't keep a job due to his drinking and when he almost killed himself I lost trust. Then we too, sold our house before we lost it. Shortly after separted and divorced.
Bright side..like you worked for the school district and here got on 2 short term disabilites. Without those..I can't image. Soc Security took me 4 yrs, never should have gotten denied by the judge..a story in itself that is funny. Yet through the persistence and great work of a group I hired, last year I did get my back pay to the day I left work.
It comes hun, is what I am trying to say. Just break each day off one at a time. Stay away from looking at whole pictures, that is what get too overwhelming.
Gentle hugs to you and prayers that it all come around as it did for me and many others. Hope this all makes sense and I didn't mix thoughts too much. Have a great day and NEVER lose contact with us here!!
I lost for words. But just remember that in this battle that u r going thru...you have the strongest soldier on your side...and he will fight with u till the end.

My doctor suggested that I apply for Social Security Disability, which I did. Twice I was denied and twice I sunk lower into depression and anxiety. The lease was coming up on my vehicle, which my parents were making the payments on...ended up with no car because of no job.
It took almost two years to get my disability approved...finally! I received thousands in back payments and was able to obtain my own apartment. Because my husband was deceased, I also qualified for "Disabled Widow's Benefits" through Social Security.
Today I'm doing okay...still have the fibro, but qualify for Medicare and now am able to take care of myself physically. During that horrible time, I went to Catholic Charities and was receiving free counseling with a therapist...it helped!
I'm 57 years old and am engaged to be married! I look back on those bleak times and realize that I could not have made it through it without my faith in the Lord. I have a plaque on my wall with the "Footprints" story, and realize that He did carry me through those tough times. Hang in there my friend...do what is in front of you to be done, but leave the results up to God. He won't disappoint you! I'm living proof!!!
