I can't tell you what is happening here right now but I am terribly upset by my partner lying about taxes.  I won't know the whole story until I make her bring up the taxes on the site and our savings acct. to see if we can pay for it.  I am partly in shock and partly furious but most of what I am feeling is overwhelmed and done.  Please keep my in your prayers.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through. My husband has had a big spending habit and tried to keep things from me so I know the level of scariness and betrayal. Prayers for you that everything works out!

Thank you for your support and prayers. We used up the better part of the money we had in savings to pay state taxes. She screwed up when she filed by transposing numbers. It wasn't intentional as she was on opioids when she did them but wow what a mess. It hurt not only because I thought she had lied but because there are some past trust issues and it brought up so many emotions. We are going to do anything like this together to be sure there aren't anymore problems. I freaked out (PTSD) when I opened the mail and saw that we owed almost $1000. This will put us behind on our time frame to buy a house but it could have been so much worse. Again thank you so much for your support.

I'm so glad things worked out as well as they could and that it was just a mistake. It's always better to have two eyes on things like that so it's good you two will be doing things like that together.

Yikes, opioids really are bad news, to be taken when only desperate. How awful for both of you, thank goodness you were able to get to the bottom of it all and work out what happened and it wasn't anything deliberate or malicious.

    Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...
