This is a good support group and glad that you found us. Some days I don't know what I'd do without the support I get from here. I've been battling Fibro for over 20 years, found out last year that I have sensory-motor polyneuropathy, and arthritis. I hope that you find the support you need here.

Welcome to the site! This is a great support group. I am sorry that you have to go through this pain. We all know how hard it is dealing with Fibro.. I have Fibro with Degenerative Disc Disease and severe back pain. It's very hard, but this group here keeps me going. Everyone understands each other. No one is judging anyone here, you are free to say how you feel and what you are going through. We have hope here with this group!

Hello, welcome! Many of us here have more than one health issue, but we all agreed: Fibro is a stinker! The group check-in is a great place to know us, vent your frustrations in safety, get/give a bit of advice and support, all the things that come with fibro but "normals" don't understand is *not* simply "whiny". As I once told my hubby of 25-plus years, yes, a headache makes a day worse. Now have a body-ache every day. Yowch.

We're a solid bunch, and a mixed one, all over the world and spectrum, so hop on in or just read, as you like, day to day!

Aloha, welcome! Sorry you have fibro, too. Reading some intro books about fibromyalgia can be helpful, the more you know the better you can advocate for yourself when seeing doctors (and that can be an uphill battle, btw). 2 important keys in managing symptoms is to stay ahead of your pain: 1. pace yourself in everything you do -take many breaks and space everything out. 2. Sleep hygiene. Fibro sufferers don't get deep sleep. Many of us here have to take sleep aids to help with it, so I recommend trying a few and finding one that help you.
