Good morning. I slept...well a little. I am so overwhelmed and exhausted that my mind and body just wouldn't let down to sleep.
We are supposed to be in the 70's for the next week. It is definatly not our normal October. I am having trouble breathing because our weed pollens are almost in the high catagory. I am going to find something fun to do at home today. Maybe I will curl up in the loveseat glider on the patio and read.
I hope you all have a great weekend with a balance of work and rest.

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Ouch, sorry about the weed pollen and lack of sleep! I'm glad you don't have anywhere to go today. Enjoy sitting on the porch, I miss having one.
Angela, yay for so much sleep! I wish I could sleep like that.
Feeling a little sleep deprived here because I keep waking up too early this past week and the mornings I finally sleep in, hubby had a 5 am alarm. Go figure.
Last night we stayed at a friend's place while they took their kids out camping... it feels like the sheraton hotel compared to the jungle we're used to: all nice and clean, no swarming bugs, indoor showers, full size kitchen, etc. Except, roosters woke me up at 5 ish. Thanks!
Hubby got called into work a shift on the boat last night while I washed 4 loads of laundry (it's nice that they have machines here). And then he came home walked in with a can of soda, plopped down on the piles of clean clothes, towels, linens, and proceeded to open the can of soda that sprayed all over the clean clothing. He didn't even apologize. Just got up and said, "Oh this isn't the flavor I wanted, I'll be back." I wanted to KILL him.
I have to finish studying for my final today and do one more computer project. Before we head out to the VFW luau tonight. I'll be so exhausted tomorrow.
I plan to take full advantage of their bathtub this morning since we don't have such luxuries out there in the jungle.
Hugs, Leo, Autumn, and everyone.
I'm hoping that my partner is going to work on my car suspension today. I'm starting to get angry because he is still sleeping on the couch and it is almost 1:00. Our roads are really bad so driving it with worn out struts is not a fun experience. It hurts.
Autumn - Thanks for starting us off. I hope that you have a great book to read today.
AngelaJo - Enjoy your downtime. You need it more than you know.
I'm off to finish the laundry that I started last night and prep for homemade pizza and salad (dinner). I will check back later. Shout out to Bear!
Sorry your weed pollen is so high. I have trouble with that in the Spring. Take care and rest when you can.
Glad you have the weekend off, Angela. I look forward to Monday. Yay, for puppies!
Blue, so glad you have a nice place to stay. You sure deserve it. Enjoy that tub. Hope you have bubbles.
Fantod, hope your roses survive. And you don’t freeze too. Thanks for the shoutout yesterday.
Hope you can get some rest, Miki. You always work so hard. Sounds like Nox is doing well.
Baby and mom and dad came home last evening. I’m so glad. It’s great to see the baby and son helps with the kids and such. We raised a good father for our grandchildren.
I am not going to the balloon fiesta tonight. I just can’t do it. I’m staying home with DILand baby. Plus I need to pack as we are leaving tomorrow. Monday I am crashing. I will miss NM though.
Have a great day.
I turned the heat on last night. The toilet seat and everything I touched in the house was cold, so enough of that. The beginning of the week I had the a/c on. This cold virus I have is dragging me down and making me hurt a lot.
Autumn - thanks for starting us out today. I hope you can get better sleep and enjoyed your book.
Angela - I believe your therapist gave you good advice. Rest and self care.
Blue - yay, a break from the jungle. Boo that hubby messed up the clean laundry.
Fantod - yeah it has become chilly in Michigan. I should be outside doing some things in the yard , but it is not going to happen , I just dont feel well enough. Enjoy your pizza. I have laundry to do too.
Miki - I hope you can find sometime to relax this weekend. That would be great if your dog could stay at home while you are at work - also less dealing with your parents and you dont have to worry about her jumping their fence.
Ida - congrats to you and your family on the arrival of the baby. I know you have been over extending yourself and I am glad your hubby was with you to help too.
Hi to Leo
I am off to get heat on my tight neck and ponder about what to have for dinner.
Fantod, you're braver than I am. Those pokey thorns are why I could never have roses.
Miki, it sounds like Nox is coming along fine... you're doing a good job.
Ida, yay for new mom and baby coming home! You must be so proud. You guys have been so busy, the balloon thing would have been too much. I hope you can rest up over the next few days.
Milily, I hope you kick that cold to the curb soon!
Shoutout to Leo, I hope you are enjoying your weekend and not letting that person ruin your weekend. Many hugs and chocolate cupcakes are coming your way.
Autumn, thanks for getting us started. I think a good book on the patio sounds nice, I just wish my neck didn't hurt more after I read. I hope Saturday was good for you.
Angela, you needed that grouding, lol. I can't wait to see pics of the puppies. I would love to play with them and then send them home. LOL.
Blue, a rooster, I hope that didn't startle you too much. It would have made me mad too if my hubby just sat on all of the laundry and open a can of pop. I hope nothing had to actually be rewashed. I'm glad you got that mini vaca away from the jungle. And great job at multitasking for your homework through all the shuffle. Good luck on your final.
Fantod, I'm glad you got your roses covered. We are supposed to freeze tonight, I'm so not ready for winter weather, just the baked treats and Christmas part. :-)
ida, congratulations on the new baby. It sounds like you are very proud of your son and you should be, you did a great job with your kids. I'm ready for Monday for you so you can sit back and do nothing.
Miki, I'm glad that Miki did great on Friday, and that Nox is fitting in nicely already. It will be no time before it's even better.
milily, I had to turn the heat on during the week too, I can't handle below 70 in my house, I am cold at 70. :-) I'm sorry your cold is lingering on and has you feeling so crummy. I hope you start feeling better this week.
This weekend hasn't been too busy but between all of the stuff I did on Friday and then not having my car yesterday, it seems busy and stressful to me. I had to use my mom's van to take us to get groceries yesterday. Today I decided not to go to church. I have no motivation and my pain and fatigue are through the roof. I really don't want to do anything, but I have been cleaning here and there and even made a yummy parmesan crusted chicken last night. I got the recipe from pinterest and it's supposed to be like Longhorn Steakhouses, it was pretty close.
Today, I plan on trying to find Maddie some shoes, we weren't successful last weekend, and then I need my husband to take me to get groceries from Sprouts. Without my Jeep I don't want to drive the van, I already need to drive it to work for a few days until I get my Jeep back. I'm so upset about my Jeep. It's going to be expensive just for the labor. They are in the process of ripping out my dash to get to the heater core and figure out what's wrong with the box that I just had replaced in Dec 2016.
I hope everyone has a good Sunday.
I'm in the process of ordering some new mini blinds today. There are a couple blinds that just broke. I was hoping to find a colour match with the existing blinds but that didn't work out. Therefore, I must spend more money because I have to order more blinds. The only *good* thing about it is that we will now have light blocking blinds in the master bedroom. The new blinds should be here just in time for the new window/s installation.
My plans today are to finish the laundry eventually, go outside and start breaking down the deck, take the sheets off of my roses (we had frost again last night) and wash my hair. I have to be up and out tomorrow to run an errand with my helper. He no longer has a vehicle and his roommate/driver is proving to be hugely unreliable.
Blue - I would have had a complete meltdown over pop being sprayed all over the clean laundry. Especially because your current living arrangements are so difficult. Someone other than me would be rewashing it. I'm sorry that happened. I hope that your gut is better. Good luck with your studies today.
Hi Milily - That cold virus that is going around is bad. My partner is still coughing over a week later and my niece is still sick from it. I hope that you have no plans today and can just rest.
Twin - Cars are so horrible to fix these days. I'm lucky that my partner is so handy. But, (like right now) that means I have to wait until he has time or feels like doing it. I'm currently bumping down the road on worn out struts. The parts have been sitting for almost 2 months and I am starting to get pretty mad. I hope that you can find Maddie some shoes that she loves today. Have a decent day!
Shout out to our number one sports fan Bear! Time to get moving. I will check back later.
I hope that you feel better and that your breathing gets better. Praying for you that you feel better and have a restful rest of the weekend. Take Care. Pam
I know my reaction to hot temperatures and high humidity is very severe. And the level of exhaustion I feel is immense all summer long and as you mentioned all the way into October now with this disaster of a climate change.
