GOOD MORNING!!! Thought I'd do a quick check-in with everyone!!
Today is Friday, the 13th of May....I know, people worry about Friday the 13th, walking under ladders, and black cats and stuff.....When I was little, we actually had two solid black cats! A male and a female, and they were just beautiful. I loved them dearly!! And they never brought any bad luck, despite crossing my path countless times!

Soooooo, what does everyone have planned for this Friday, the 13th? Let's AD LIB a bit!! I'm just doing some housework, cuz its rainy around here this morning!!

Getting ready to head out and find that perfit gift for my baby's 21st Birthday...
Since he is a Northern-Red Neck fannel wearing, guiter picking, fisherman and hunter who collects long guns and the fact he can not drink due to medications he is way toooo excited about being able to apply for his pistol permit....heaven help me!
So it is either Dicks or Gander Mnt for a gift card other then some much needed summer clothes. (by now you would like I could pack away the fannel) So wish me luck!
With regards to the Friday the 13th love Friday's and half my family was born on a 13th so mother nature bring her on I am ready!

We are working 10.5 hour days. Keep me in your prayers. Especially as we will be doing this from now until at least May 23- with no days off. I don't know how this will effect my fibro.

I am going to sit on my rather large rump, laugh at kids, contemplate the universe with my eyes closed, and discover the cure for the common cold (that last part was the ad lib LOL)

I am in bed, recovering from hemorrhagic cystitis, which is fancy doctor talk for Bladder Infection From Hell. I wasn't feeling too great yesterday, then I had to urinate every twenty minutes and it hurt, and then my urine turned pink with blood. You never saw this Leo move so fast! Lucky for me there's a good ER and I got right in. I am some better today but worn out.
Anyway, I hope you are all having a WONDERFUL Friday the 13th! I am. DH did all the dishes and even scrubbed the sink and mopped the kitchen floor by 7 AM today. Holy cow!
Hope everyone else has a wonderful day... I like to prove the superstitions wrong and have a great day on Friday 13th, hope you all can do the same.
I'll take a Friday, no matter the date! Actually, I was born on the 13th day of January, and so I've always found number 13 to be lucky for me. So, as Michael Scott once said, I'm not superstitious, just a little-stitious!
I found a dress for the wedding last night! What a relief. And guess what else I found...I felt so silly asking the woman in the Hosiery Dept of the store, if there was such a thing as nylons that can be worn with flip-flop sandles (since that's the shoe I have to wear with the dress). It showed me that there is no such thing as a silly question when she led me to a rack of No Toes Hose! Now I'm just hoping that the rain holds off since the wedding and reception are outside tomorrow. Though I awoke today with all over pain telling me that the rain is a-coming!

Leo, I am so sorry to here that you are down again! It's been a rough few months for you and I hope that you start to feel better quickly and that things stay that way for a long while.
Lisa, I hope that you have a good day of R&R. You are doing exactly what you should be doing, after such a painful week.
I will be very lazy and gentle to my body today since it is already hurting with the impending rain coming, and I want to be able to attend our friend's son's wedding tomorrow...especially since two of my three boys are in the wedding!
Friday the 13th? Well, I guess I'll stay home...and safe.
The IRS wants more paperwork and I have some housework to get done. I have to do the most difficult of chores which is change the sheets and try not to hurt myself.
My daughter asked me to babysit tomorrow and of course I'm thrilled. It is supposed to be rainy and cold here all weekend. Even snow in the hills. What? This is California! It doesn't snow in May!
