First, everyone who called I had flu was right. Been fighting it but it was at its worst Sunday and Monday. Getting better finally. Normal pain & exhaustion scale for fibro runs 1-10. This week I was a 20 on both. Ugh.
Thats not the worst of it though. Because a) I have fibro and it has turned my world upside down b) I have 2 kids with ASD and one with bipolar (who keeps needing psych hospital) I guess. Im a little stressed out lately. Thats a joke of course. But I have said things to my husband like I just cant do it all anymore. He asks for clarification, I say work, mom, wife, daughter, sister, housekeeper/cook some things have to go. Im too tired and just cannot DO IT anymore. And, Im not the woman you married and that upsets me meaning I lost the ability I once had to do many things. Well, lets just say he is a panicker. And he panicked somehow instead of learning more about fibro he took it to mean I wanted to commit suicide. Ummm, no. Holy cow, Im struggling to hang on as hard as I can, are you nuts!
Then there is my mom I am closed off from her suddenly let me tell you this is one cause I sleep a lot and suck at sleep convos, and 2) when I ask for help she has church obligations or wont come over because my dad is too easily frustrated by the younger two with ASD.
Fastforward to their (my mom convinced my husband) of a genius idea of staging an intervention. Mind you, they showed up 2 hours after I visited my kid at a psych hospital on Easter when all she wanted to do was to be home and I had to watch her be sad and cry and I have the flu. I get home to sleep and. Surprise parents show up. They gang up on me and my plots to kill myself. WTF??? I cant even do anything because I am now so weak with flu and fibro and cant say anything because the fever in my head isnt making my brain work.
Once I am finally feeling a bit better a few days later I read them all the riot act and they are SURPRISED!!! Are you serious? So, I am dealing with my husband and attending his counseling session with him to discuss. I am not currently speaking to my parents because I am still so mad.
I never knew that not be able to be yourself and do what you wanted meant you were suicidal. Guess I learned something.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

I hope you start feeling better soon and can get all of this straightened out. You certainly have a lot on your plate.
Here's the thing - your parents got the information from Hubby. Like playing the game telephone, not only did he *not* get what you were telling him, he passed that on with his own spin to your folks. I do understand that you should be angry with them. But, in this case, the messenger aka Hubby is where the majority of your frustration should center. I'm glad that you are going to one of his counseling sessions to try and work this out. Be mad at your parents, talk to them about it when you can be calm and try to let it go. They won't be around forever.
This flu that is going around is bad. I had several relapses and I am still coughing more than a month later. Try to take it easy when you can so you can kick it once and for all. Sending you a hug and hoping that things get better for you!
But, this is her M.O. and when she wants she can be very manipulative. Thus the anger with parents more than him. But believe me, him too.
Sending healing thoughts. I hope you get what you need.

Staging a suicide intervention is... I am speechless. Your husband could have at least asked you what's going on with you and what do you need help with instead doing all of all that! HUSBANDS! UGHHH! What am I saying, asking your wife what she needs help with goes against their DNA.
I would like to grab your family and shake them. I could completely blame your hubby but your mom should have at least called you to hear your side of the story before blindly spearheading an intervention.
Family. Ugh.
I hope you gave your husband some of the workload, maybe even your mom, for what they did. So they can take some off your shoulders.
Be strong and hang in there.
