Does anyone have lupus in addition to FM? I am curious because y research (and symptoms) have lead me down this road of investigation. I have every one of these symptoms...
Fatigue and fever
Joint pain, stiffness and swelling
Butterfly-shaped rash on the face that covers the cheeks and bridge of the nose
Skin lesions that appear or worsen with sun exposure
Fingers and toes that turn white or blue when exposed to cold or during stressful periods (Raynaud's phenomenon)
Shortness of breath
Chest pain
Dry eyes
Headaches, confusion, memory loss
Urine protein and blood
The only thing I don't have is the anemia. My cousin who has psoriatic arthritis suggested starting a new pain journal on my cell for my upcoming ne rheumy appointment. Sounds good to me!

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. I've been in the lupus-like category for 30 years. This is good since nothing so severe has happened to put me in the "definitely lupus" category. It's also frustrating, because the lupus drugs help me. One rheumy did a trial of prednisone to see if symptoms resolve with it, which they did. There is flushing that can look like a butterfly rash. There is a biopsies that can be done to see if your rashes are lupus. Tread carefully when you bring this up. Maybe you could say, "a friend thought I might have lupus." Doctors seem eager to dismiss such concerns.
