We're home! This time the pest control laid it on so thick the floors are *oiled*. (We have no carpeting.) I defy any flea to survive. Heck, I can't walk. We're wearing rubber soles and still ice skating. Mwyahahaha! Perhaps now we can get the pestilent vermin to die die die and stop spending nights in hotels!
Anyway, all this super-triggering super-wearing-out stuff means I am in the deep shinola everywhere. I mean, nothing I say is right. I am rude. I am loud. I am defensive. I am disrespectful. (All that from a person who then e-mailed me to tell me more about it after telling me in person. Did I interrupt her? Yes. Was she spouting something that's been debunked? YES. That makes me angry. If you must repeat crap, repeat *accurate* crap.) Anyway.... So apparently I suck! Woohooooo! I anger everyone of late just by being me! I have a new talent! Can I get on American Idol now?

For those who were rooting for the Bears last night... Yeah. Sorry. Bummer.
So today in history... It was all really depressing. Yikes.
So, there's a book subtitled "Autobiography of a Horse". (Which of itself would catch the eye.) Actual title? Black Beauty.
Medical terminology headache warning! "Oversecretion of sebaceous glands" is how doctors define... Acne. *headdesk* Wow.
IN one of technology's great jokes, tinned food showed up in 1810=---that is, the tin can for food did---but it didn't take off right away. Why? For real, they didn't invent a can opener until 1860. Uhhh... OK? Wait, what? Huh?
Believei t or not, counting cricket chirps does actually ehlp you figure out temperature, but rather more vitally, I want to point out that if there aren't any crickets chiirping, you probably should consider the weather "Cold" and be done with it. The simplest version of the formula (less accurate with the common field cricket) is: T = 40 + N(sub15). In other words, Temperature (Fahrenheit) equals forty plus the number of chirps in fifteen seconds. This appeared in an 1887n paper by Amos Dolbear, who was actually preceded in 1881 by Margarette Brooks. Nevertheless, the law is still known as "Dolbear's Law". Incidentally, he never did a good job specifying cricket species, so if you're listening to the average crickets? Don't bet your life on the cricket chirps. Some species change their chirp rate because of mating season, ages, gender... Ah, yeah, never mind.
Why is beer bitter? Hops. Guess what? Without the hops, you dn't get the same drowsy feeling, either. Hops are used in herbal medicine to help people relax and sleep. (Use wisely, and sparingly, in herbal infusions.)
Many of us joke that if we dislike our weather, wait ten minutes, it will change. Not so on Jupiter. The big red spot, which is a storm? Ongoing at least 300 years based on our astronomical observations. Yeah, that's.. wow.

I'm feeling very down on myself (tummy flabby) and I'm still stuck not cleaning my house much, soooo.... Yeah. Whatever. I'm not doing great mood-wise, so Ig uess I'll sign off and drown my sorrows in the chocolate leading to the tummy flabby, etc. *headdesk* BTW, it's going to be summer gtemps here until end of September, eek! Am so glad we have AC!
Lovely day, all!

Mornings or Nights?*You can’t say both (or neither), or add stipulations, or make substitutions- just commit and pick one of the two choices!

Can I stop over later and do some floor skating? You could hit me with a double gillooly...We'd be stars! Kind of funny, but not in a funny way, I was just thinking the same thing about tummy flab. I've been eating a lot, mostly due to anxiety I think. I hope you find some peace there today..kick back and relax a bit if you can.
Surprisingly, I overdid it yesterday. We had some salt brought to the house for our softener and the lazy @*)$#* delivery guy didn't bring it downstairs. He just left it in the porch. Anyway, we have 4 70 lbs bags of salt that had to be moved to the basement as part of our cleaning extravaganza...and I was picked as the mover. To make a long story longer...I did get them down there but didn't sleep hardly at all because of the pain. It's already starting to back off some as I move around here today though...BETTER DAYS AHEAD FOR US ALL!
Peace to all and out to me,
Kel
I'd love to join the two of you on Idol! Can you find a spot for me? :-) I hope you have a good day.
I'm very sorry to hear about your back, I hope that you can find some relief.
I could start out as an Angel and maybe learn to be a bitch? Kind of a B in training? What do you think?
Precious, I wish I knew of a way to get rid of the nightmares. I had terrible nightmares in my twenties and they aren't nearly as bad now. Maybe hormones play a big part in them. I hope you sleep better tonight. Tiger balm pain patches or icy hot patches for your back. Fingers crossed you can get some.
Kel, I can't believe the delivery guy left it on your porch. What an idiot! I hope your pain eases up! Good luck staying awake and making yourself push through the day.
I see the chiropractor at lunch and Addison's therapy at 4:30, which means I will leave work at 4 and rush to get her. My usual pain in my limbs is hard to ignore, and then my neck and back pain is creeping up in intensity. I have a feeling after today it will hurt more. I'm hoping it doesn't. My stomach has been bothering me some since Sunday. I didn't take the calm forte last night and I think my stomach feels better today. It may be causing some bloating. I will try only 1 pill tonight to see if that helps w/o causing any extra bloating. I can feel my anxiety on the rise, so I am glad I have therapy tomorrow.
I hope everyone finds a way to be happy today!
OK, Presh, warm fuzzies to your back. Wish I could dispel your nightmares with a puma purr.
Kel, oh geez... Overdoing is ... Yeah.
I know I'm handling my life badly... Not being able to clean, paint, or so on, really takes away my favorite coping.
But if the fleas survive *this* bout of chemic al warfare? I'm calling RIpley's Believe it Or Not, and the University of Entomology...
Kel, while you're getting set up for American Idol..... stop overdoing it!!!! Today Dr. Tia says to rest and relax. That's what I'm going to do and if Mom doesn't like it.... TOUGH!!
I think my backache is caused from the severe weather change. It goes from the 80's to the 60's this time of year and my body pays for it.
Negative: I'm not doing well, which makes me shut down and then I have to resort to stupid self-imposed therapy to get over the block/anxiety of even starting to vocalise that I'm not doing well. Totally functional adult here...
Positive: We managed to score another viewing for tomorrow, and we're as excited as our newly developed jadedness about this process can let us be.
My partner has also been showing herself very supportive and caring when I spoke up about some of the stuff going on in my head. I couldn't ask for anyone better, because I've only ever received support and love and care from her, from the depth of her soul. The pedestal I place her on could not be higher. :)
Meep.
