Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I am curious how many people have Fibromyalgia, and Essential Tremor, Bipolar, Restless Legs, Tendinitis and Sleep Apnea... I have just joined several groups here and noticed many people have similar health problems across the site. I have all of these and was surprised to see others mention having some of them too. I always assumed each was just a completely separate problem but when I see members on fibromyalgia forum saying they get tremor and Restless legs... and ones on Essential Tremor forum mentioning fibromyalgia... and so on, it makes me wonder how many of these things are conected. I figure I'll post this question on each of the forums and see who else has multiple conditions in common.
I have,
Fibromyalgia
Essential Tremor
Bipolar 2
Restless Legs
Tendinitis
Sleep Apnea
Depression
Constantly tired and sore drop things and am unable to work.

We're all troubled.WSo, to remind ourselves we're not at rock bottom (this is a reverse optimism thing I learned as a kid):We are not living on the island of Krakatoa when the volcano goes boom!Yeah, okay, that sucks.***Toay in 1942, Pierre Laval announced that the way to free France was for Germany to win WW2. Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

What is really annoying is that each condition often gets treated by different doctors who are not always in communication with each other.
I sometimes feel like I am going to go crazy with the symptoms of everything! For years my doctors just chalked everything up to depression, but eventually I got some more thorough doctors who found that I had Fibromyalgia and also that I had Bipolar that was being made worse by the antidepressants. Yay :-/

I suggest that you purchase the book "Fibromyalgia for Dummies" which is available on Amazon. It will give you a comprehensive overview of this complex illness and a lot of ways to manage it. Take care.
For example the over extension of joints has been an issue since I was a child. Also I never would have thought my esophageal problems causing difficulty swallowing could have any association with fibromyalgia or the other conditions. All these conditions I have just seemed like separate unrelated problems, that is always how my doctors approach it. Not that any one treatment fixes them all, but it would have been nice to know sooner that other people experience the same set of conditions... It's nice to not feal alone :-)
