I cannot tolerate ANY of the meds...the side effects with the meds were worse for me then this DIS-EASE...

For me, it made me dizzy, chunky/fat, sleepy and I didn't feel I could safely drive more than a mile from my home.
When I went off it, the withdrawal was absolutely horrible. That MAY be because either I misunderstood the doctor OR he misunderstood me...not sure...but it was bad. Will never use it again.
But that is ME....
There are several posts on this board. You may want to page back a few days and review those......

It took different {mg} until I felt a difference. This was 150mg 3x a day. Before I stopped it. It caused headache. blurred vision, itching, loss of concentration, depression, and I gained 35pds. After a month I felt just like I did before. Many even take higher doses.. I lose my health Ins. So its not worth or the magic pill for me.
The more options we have, the better off we are as a whole. Some drugs work well for some people, while others need something else.
I dont take Lyrica, but one of my friends just started taking it. So far so good with it, but I can reply later with an update on how it is for her after I ask her. I do also say to give it a try. Most reasons why a med doesnt work is that people dont give them long enough to work. They get side-effects and dont realize that these side-effects normally go away within the 6 weeks or so it takes for the medicine to start really working its magic. -Dawn
