Yes, I had a dr's appointment at 1:45. So I left work at 1:15, arrived at the office at 1:30, signed in and the receptionist greeted me very nicely and informed me that my appointment was the next day.....We all had a nice laugh over that. Oh well, I had the wrong day. But at least I was on time LOL

I was employed at a research company to assist with a backlog of work. One of my tasks was to call all out clients and find out about their funding, etc. I made a call and while waiting for them to pick up, my mind wandered and the next minute I had the answering machine going. I try to leave a clear message but landed up ending the call with n Jesus Name, Amen!' Since I was fairly knew at the company, I was so afraid the customer would call back and ask for my supervisor to question the message left on their machine. Problem was I could not erase it or do anything about it so I was on the edge of my seat the entire day. :)

I always give my work address as my home address and my home address as my work address and as for zip codes OMG! I live On the corner of three counties and we have properties in four counties and when I am doing work for the company I always give out the zip for the wrong property and have to say UMMMM excuse me but i just gave you the wrong zip even though i am LOOKING at the right one as I am reciting it I do this over and over and over. I also do this with our phone number as look at it as this is our number 336-366-33 you get the picture all threes and sixes. Oh my! Frist time I got my mail at work thank god my boss thinks of me as family and doesnt think anything about it.

i've just spent five days trying to call my therapist with the wrong zone number. couldn't think why no one was anwering my phone calls. went to the internet, sent email, told my b.f. who finally figured out that i was using the wrong area code! i thought like i was stuck in the twilight zone! really very upsetting! i thought the phone i was using had the same code as the dr. seems not to be true!

One day when doing laundry I started up the machine, put the soap and fabric softener in and then just shut the the lid ( with out putting the laundry in). when I came back to put it in the dryer and opened it to find it empty I freaked out for a minute thinking ummmm where are my clothes hahaa then it sunk in. Sad thing is I did it twice more between that same day and the next! ugh!!!

I finished my laundry, folded every thing nicely, and put it all a way, later that day, I went into the fridge to get some and thought what the heck. There was my husband underwear, placed nicely beside the milk.lol

I've put the peanut butter in the fridge and the milk in the food pantry. Just today I was looking for my hand towel that I always leave hanging on the cupboard door. Hmmm...So I get another one. Then I spot it under the plant I overwatered last nite !
I get to the door and I can't find my key. I'm panicked. The door isn't locked because I just stepped out to put the dogs out. For some reason my mind thought I just got home from somewhere I guess. Goodness.

My Dr called to find out which pharmacy I used because a med she prescribes for me is getting scare, I told her I use epharmacy, one I have never been to in my life, it was only later I realised what I'd said. Then I was at the airport and asked the security man if I'd have any trouble when I came through again a couple of days later as I wanted to bubble wrap something I wanted to take on the next plane trip, when he asked me what it was I said a teapot, tin or ceramic he asked, ceramic I replied. trouble was it was a swan ornament I was bringing through but my brain processed each thing independantly of me, wierd.

I stand at the door telling myself not to lock it because I dont have a key to get back in, I lost the other three I had, so what do I do? LOCK IT, now I have to go to my husband's work and get his key to get back in. My mission to begin with is take my husband's lunch to him, and the bad part is I am standing at the pre locked door trying to remember what I am forgetting.......looking at the lunch bag and walk out locking myself out.

Sad thing is this happens often, my husband just shakes his head at me, like ....... you did it again!

When purchasing cigs ( I know...shame on me lol), sometimes instead of asking for my ID, they will hit me with the quick WHATS YOUR BIRTHDAY?...and like a blockhead...I panic and have that deer in the headlights look....then I finally remember it & say it...after saying my 15 yr old daughters birthday first LOL....Needless to say...I ebded up having to pull out the ole ID LMAO!

LOL...I'm still looking for the keys I lost last summer!

My hubby and I were just laughing yesterday at how he will find the phone in the linen closet, the freezer or the oven!

I'm always transposing words. At inappropriate times. My list goes on and on!

Thankfully, I have young kids. I can 'get away' with many of these things.

LOL I took The Cordless Phone from work home with me Friday and tried to make a phone call from it and was answering my house phone. Surry Inn, This is julie How may I help You? Lol I called my Boss and Told him if the phone rang I had it I would answer and take messages. He asked me how and if it would ring that far away. I almost died....... His wife said you dummy you know it wont. She got on the phone and said it is okay julie you can bring it back tomorrow.

Heres another I did just today... While at walmart last week I bought a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of conditioner or so i thought. Now keeping in mind I have already used the shampoo and conditioner once since purchasing them.

Today I poured out some {shampoo} put it on my hair and I thought this doesn't feel like shampoo. I got the other bottle assuming I had the wrong one, it said conditioner. I put it down got the other first bottle, it said conditioner too.

If I haven't already used both the bottles already I wouln't have felt so stupid, but I did use them both last week and some how the words conditioner on both bottles went right past me.

yesterday I put the ricemilk carton in the dishwasher and the empty cup in the refrigerator. sigh.
I always get mixed up on my social security number, and anytime I am on the phone with a bank or someone like that I have to answer all the extra questions because they think I'm a fraud!

Oh, I solved the leaving keys in the house and locking myself out problem. I have a deadbolt. You have to have the key and be outside the door to lock it. Since I've installed it, I have never had that problem !! One thing off the list ! WOOHOO !
