Just today I found my camera standing on end in the pantry like it knew what it was doing in and among the spices.

Sadly, I can't remember where I put it after finding it, but I did also run into its case under my bed when I was looking for a file folder.

This morning I had a dentist appointment. I was walking through the laundry room, purse in hand, on my way out the door. I remembered that there was a load of laundry in the washer and stopped to put it in the dryer, then picked up my purse and walked right back in the house and turned on the TV all ready to watch the Olympics. Thank God I remembered where I was supposed to be (thanks to a post it note on the bathroom mirror) or I would have been charged for the appointment I missed to watch TV!

If i am not forgetting to call someone back,,then i am putting something in a safe place,,,,and then never remembering where the heck i put it!!! and if i am not doing that i am locking myself out of my house or my car,,,,,,,locked myself out of my car 4 times,,,,,$40-50 per pop!!!!! it is expensive forgetting!!!! not to mention frustrating.....

The worst is when I cannot think of a word and then put the wrong word in. I was talking to a friend about the last time I saw her and instead of saying "Oh it was at your son's baptism" I said "Oh it was at your son's funeral." I felt so bad and like a complete dweeb!!!

And the one other one that I laugh at still with my colleagues - I answered the phone like I normally do by saying my company name and who I am but instead of saying this is "my name", I said this is "my colleagues name" - the person who I happened to be looking at when I picked up the phone..... seriously I laughed until I cried with that one

I call my husband my bosses name my boss my neighbors name and my neighbor my husbands name and this gets sticky. Also my neighbor divorced last year and has a new GF and Once in a while i call the new GF by the EX wifes name. My boss also has stopped asking who i talked to at the franchise office when i call in about a situation.

But can you imagine if I called my husband by another name at that special moment, OMG! I would freak!

OMG, it's nice to hear that I am not alone! LOL
I had to make 4 trips to the post office to mail one box one day.
I forgot the box to mail the first time, got there and had to go back home. Then, I didn't have the address, so went back home,
Next, I realized I'd left my purse at home w the money in it, back home I go..Finally, got to the window, and realized I had my id but no credit card! Thanks for making me feel so at home. hahaha

I have done all of these things too. But the most embarrasing is misplaced words. The worst was in school years ago, when we had pagers instead of cell phones. Mind you I was in a Christian school. My pager goes off and I say "My vibrators beeping, I MEAN MY BEEPERS VIBRATING!!" of course the only teacher that isnt married has never dated or even kissed a man was the one looking at me with her mouth open wide.

Oh...got another for you. Im sure you all know what it is like to wear baggy clothes on painful days. Plus Ive lost major weight. Im out of it from no sleep and pain, and went to the store, came home to realize that my camo khaki cargo pants were on backwards the entire time. when did i figure this out when I went to the bathroom and couldnt find the zipper...LOL.... If nothing else we are fun to be around... you never know what we will do.
I mess up my words all the time, miss place everything I touch. I am glad I am not the only one.

So the other day I'm doing the 50 yard dash... I think I'm on my way as I open the door and I feel the cold air penetrating my legs so I look down to realize I have my pajama pants on !
