Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I have no children, so can't help there, but I remember a discussion on here a few weeks ago that might help:

She is undiagnosised with Fibro, but when I was diagnosised with the symptoms of it from not sleeping and RSD, I realized that the symptoms fit her even better than me! I've been trying to get her to see someone about it, she just got medical insurance back, but so far no go. She is very quiet, shy, and reluctant to go to the doctor for anything. Matter of fact, she found a midwife who had her own practice to deliver the baby.
While she is normally very tired, slow, and hurting all over, now at 5 months pregnant she is just miserable. The headaches are worse and now she can't take anything but tylenol to help, so she is in bed about 16 out of every 24. I've tried to get her to sit in our spa for just a few minutes at a time but she is worried about too much heat on the baby.
Now that the baby is moving a lot and she feels it, she reacts like it is extremely painful.
Sigh, I'm just so worried about her but don't know how to help her. She is only half way there, and the movement, growth of stomach is just beginning... and she already is in so much discomfort and pain.
Any suggestions for what might feel good to her, or how I could support/ help her would be appreciated.
Thanks
MM
