So I got a suprise yesterday morning with an unexpected positive pregnancy test.

Yes, the timing is terrible with us waiting on disability approval and trying to sell our home, but a new baby is so precious. So I have to say I'm overjoyed to be adding a little bundle of joy to our family.

Anyway, anyone else survived pregnancy with Fibro...I'm not looking forward to it. Just to the result! :-)

I don't have any personal experience with pregnancy and fibro. My oldest was already at college when I developed fibro.

But I have heard others say that they felt good during pregnancy.

My kids were already born when my fibro started, so I can't offer info....but I wanted to say Congratulations!

i was pregnant with fibro but didn't know that I had fibro. Just remember everybody is different. When I was pregnant with my last child it was really hard, I hurt and ached so bad and I had no idea what was going on, I took hot bath every night which did help some. I was working full time which probably didn't help. Since my pregnancy I have gone down hill and they have diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and we realized it went way back further than that.

like I said everybody is different and since you already know you have it that will probably make a huge difference. I don't want to worry you I just want ed to let you know my experience.

Congratulations to you! I did not develop fibro until my kids were older, so I do not have any insight or advice, but I did want to congratulate you on your news ~ hugs :)

I was dx w CFS( and fibro but not officially) and was out of work for 3 months. I finally forced myself back to work when I found out I was pregnant. I cried at my docs office. I didnt think I was healthy enough to be pregnant and survive! Well great news for me and hopefully you.... I felt the best during both of my pregnancies. Just check any meds you might be on. Also when the baby comes try to pace yourself and ask for help. My kids and hubby are wonderful support. I wish the same for you. Btw my kids are11 and 15 boys!! I still deal w CFS and Fibro everyday, but no more babes for me :) lol

Thanks for all the well wishes! I'm starting to get a little more excited. I'm pretty sure I had fibro (undiagnosed) during my first pregnancy. I was miserable, but survived. I would go through labor any day if it meant I could avoid having to survive the pregnancy. And I had a rough labor.

I will survive again though and will have another bundle of joy at the end. I'm hoping this one will be as good as my little girl was as an infant.
